Yeah… this has just confirmed to me that Morgan Rogers to Arsenal is almost a done deal. I expect it to be completed within the first week after the World Cup.
Aston Villa are obviously trying to sign Manzambi as his replacement. Brilliant profiling from Villa, though, Manzambi is about as like-for-like a Morgan Rogers replacement as you’ll find. Similar ball-carrying ability, ball striking techniques and the same capacity to dominate across multiple zones.

Newcastle United have - as of this afternoon - still had no contact with Arsenal over Bruno Guimaraes. No offers, no bids, no conversations to even ask about his availability or to explore what a deal could look like. Described by sources as “very odd” given all the noise that has been generated the last couple of weeks. What is clear is that there is a huge gap between what Newcastle have been told - via intermediaries acting on their behalf - Arsenal would be willing to pay for Bruno and #nufc valuation of their captain and most important player.

I’m told Bruno is extremely emotional following Brazil’s early exit from the World Cup. This is probably his last chance to secure a big money move to a team competing for title and Champions League.

As a football fan, it’s best not to get too attached to a player. Eventually they all move. You can’t fault what Bruno has done for Newcastle. However you’d like to think #nufc would hold firm on this one. 60m for their captain is so far below his value it’s almost insulting
