@The_Epic_Mike In my experience, the tendency men have is to protect, and it's not limited to just their own kids. That she would even use "possess" in regards to kids just shows she's the one who's twisted.

@HMBohemond They're trying to lure people back, obviously, but Doomsday's full of post-Endgame characters & apparently involves incursions & multiverse stuff, so I wouldn't expect the marketing to match the movie.

They're legit just going to delete everything between Endgame and Doomsday, aren't they? Either outright ignore it, or make something happen in Doomsday to enable it as a canon event. Like I've been half joking but they're designing this so you don't have to watch anything between the two. They're making an extended rerelease of Endgame to facilitate it. MCU phases 4-6 where THE big woke franchise for Hollywood and Disney. They're deleting it. If that doesn't show you who won the culture war, I don't know what will.

Joe Russo says the ‘AVENGERS: ENDGAME’ re-release includes new footage that ties into the narrative of ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’. “It’s an opportunity to create a bridge from Endgame to Doomsday in a very unique way.” (Source: Deadline)

They got so much respect & fame though, they were 'in the zeitgeist' of gaming, they just kinda squandered it. Always remember, Bethesda was so respected and beloved that the bugs became an "endearing" thing. There was that sort of 'meme' (they even played into it in a showcase) This was because people liked them and still valued the games BEYOND the issues. What's going on now is that the games just aren't worth it anymore, they're not good, they're screwing up (also taking forever to release, wtf) and so it's difficult for people to: A) Care as much again. B) Rely on them, as it sometimes feels like our goodwill was abused rather than returned to us in kind by actually working harder on their games. ^ In other words, it feels like that goodwill and respect made them get complacent as they kept watering down their games more and more (less complex RPG systems, worse/lazier writing, etc) and never evolving their design.
Pirat_Nation 🔴@Pirat_Nation

Former Bethesda executive Pete Hines believes the studio deserves more respect for the scale and freedom of its open worlds. He argued that few developers allow players to stack quests, ignore the main storyline, and explore entirely on their own terms, adding, “Go try that in Red Dead Redemption 2.” “This level of freedom is what makes these worlds feel alive.”

@eurogamer Maybe someone should let Hollywood executives know that gaming has been the biggest entertainment industry for a decade now (bigger than Hollywood & the music industry combined), and maybe if they want to grab on to its coattails they should show the customers basic respect.

Lol, that's interesting since he was VERY excited to work with me and claimed to be a big fan when it benefitted him. Now that he's trying to break into TV, suddenly he's filled with "regret". Good luck sucking all that Hollywood dick, buddy. Hope it's worth it.

Matt Dinniman, author of Dungeon Crawler Carl, has choice words for The Critical Drinker: "I regret that my books have any association whatsoever with him. I hope one day to have his part in book three removed all together. It's a distraction, and the only edgelord douchebag I want people to think of when they read my books is the AI itself." Why did he feel the need to do this?

@smuglydismissed @TheCriticalDri2 If you don’t understand Matt’s politics after reading his books then you’re not really understanding his books. The entire DCC series is a scathing criticism of capitalism.

@HMBohemond Of course the writers for hire in someone else's work don't necessarily know anything about it. There are even authors who don't know their own original worlds as well as their fans do. That's why the ones who care hire lore keepers to check their work.

RUMOR: Disney executives are supposedly interested in buying Epic Games and are waiting for the right moment, according to reporter Alex Heath Some executives are seemingly interested, while others say it would be a bad idea for the company (Noticed by @FNBRunderground)

@PaulCojoc @klara_sjo I like GOG, but they're specifically a no-DRM shop, which means a lot of games aren't available there. On the other hand, you can buy clean copies of games that used to be tied to now defunct services on GOG, so they're great for preservation.

@lyrverse Make it a habit to thank each other. No one likes to feel taken for granted, and everyone likes to know their efforts are appreciated. He will never be able to read your mind, & you shouldn't expect it. A good relationship with his family is worth the effort. (31 years so far)

@ScottDa70297555 @ThatChrisGore Yours is the strawman argument because at no point in the streams I've been on or have listened to has anyone said anything about writers that are fans. They merely state fans, and if you're trying to say that they're implying "writers" who are fans, that's a rewriting history.

@TheDezembro It's the bounciness that's killing me. If this is representative of overall trends, it would explain why I get more motion sickness with newer games. I actually prefer first person but have to play third person in newer games.

This is pretty much going to be the format of my "Buyer Beware / Before You Buy" video. Nothing like a nice list of: - True things I can confirm and elaborate on - Exaggerated things I can clarify myself - Retarded shit I can laugh at because it comes from movie game babies.
George Alexopoulos@GPrime85

Fully agree with Mack. As with books, movies, and comics, the first two hours of a game are critical. If devs can't be bothered to make it interesting, players won't bother with the rest. Still mad I spent 70 bucks on this trash instead of seeing Project Hail Mary.
