Hot clam! Study from @ninawhitney @scleroclimate et al. used shell records from long-lived Arctica islandica clams from Gulf of Maine to reconstruct historical temps. Warming in the last 200 years reversed a previous 900 year cooling trend! nature.com/articles/s4324…

@davidacoil @phylogenomics Depth, because each sample only has one depth measurement, not mtuple depths per sample.

In the phrase "depth of coverage was normalized within each sample" our reviewer wants us to change it to "depths". That doesn't sound right to me, what does Twitter think? @phylogenomics
