As we commemorate the 80th Anniversary today of the D-Day landings in Normandy, let us not forget the many Gurkhas who fought in the Second World War. Around 140,000 fought, sustaining over 23,000 casualties.

Yesterday, alongside our National Event in Normandy, we also hosted a Remembrance service to mark 80 years since D-Day at @Nat_Mem_Arb 1/2
