Guess I can finally share this! A spider shader I made for Tomb Rainder Reloaded. It uses world position, sine waves and vertex colors to animate the spider, all done on the vertex shader. Those are projectiles so they had to be cheap and not skinned. #VFX #madewithunity

@Atrix256 I tried these two, both work fine for my usecase, left with float, right with uint. I am still sure I am not doing the uint right, the conversion to normalize float is still prone to precision error. Most implementation I see out there are quite a bit more complicated

Golden ratio sequences are so easy to write, I wonder why I havent used them before. I am just not sure how people deal with floating point precision issues with large seeds? Or are the sequences supposed to always start from zero?
