I have a no-tablet rule for my kids EXCEPT in airports and airplanes, and we recently flew and I felt self conscious so I kept loudly saying "Enjoy the tablets for now, guys, because you know you NEVER GET THESE AT HOME" aaah I'm so pathetic

always gonna be exceptions, but the least neurotic mothers i know have helpful husbands that are looking out for them. the most neurotic mothers i know have a husband who, at best, says "everything is going to be fine, chill out" while doing nothing helpful.

@teachermother1 Meal trains aren't worth the effort. Too much work figuring out what will be eaten and how to deliver it hot, unless they are actually your friends. Gift cards are better, but I can't gift $40 to every acquaintance ... I'll take care of my people. (Hope you aren't in our co-op!)
