4/ This wasn’t the effort of a single hospital. Doctors and forensic teams came from Sola Civil (Ahmedabad), Gandhinagar Civil, and hospitals across Kheda, Anand, Mehsana & Gandhinagar. Dental surgeons and FSL experts joined in too.

3/ “Our team began post-mortems at 4:30 pm on June 12 and worked through the night without pause,” said Dr Mahesh Kapadia of Ahmedabad Civil Hospital. “We completed most and collected DNA samples, except in 8 cases where they weren’t needed.”

1/ As per the govt information, in a powerful show of unity, 140 doctors from 4 districts worked non-stop after the #AhmedabadPlaneCrash—completing most post-mortems and DNA sample collections in just 12.5 hours. A rare feat of coordination and public service. 🧵

WR Medical Team and RPF personnel have also already been deployed for assisting in rescue operations. Additionally, Western Railway will operate extra trains from Ahmedabad based on demand.
