Passionate about developing people in exciting and engaging ways! I believe learning shouldn't be a task, it's human nature, let's weave it in to what we do

@BBCSport What a mediocre performance from England. Got no chance playing like that. Zero f@*ks given from the team.

Oleksandr Zinchenko's goal proved enough for Ukraine to gain a valuable point against England in their #Euro2024 Group C qualifier. #BBCFootball #UKRENG

#LDInsight I think this a non negotiable for learning functions now. How can we create the right learning without partnering with the business? We're moving away from plowing out content into delivering more focused, targeted solutions that deliver against business needs.

@Brendan_Learn I agree, accept when it's being used between people in the same workspaces! Great for hybrid and remote working though.

@RussCLnD I'd advocate for an Omni channel approach. Although companies can be tied into buy a tool so use it... #ldinsight

Technology can be a great aid in my work, allowing for efficient communication and organization, but it can also distance the personal touch needed for effective coaching. Striking a balance is key. #ldinsight

This week's #LDInsight question is inspired by this week's #LT23UK Whether you went or not ... What are your thoughts on the positive and/ or negative impacts technology has in your practice / work?

#LDInsight I think we are at risk (and this isn't new) of being lead by the technology. We should stay grounded, think about what we want to achieve and then decide/use tech to support that, not want the shiny tech and then find a problem for it to solve.

Anyone else really hacked off with their mobile price rises? I cant actually use my phone when I walk inside a building, I have to use WiFi if its available. And they say they're investing in the network? Hmm, sure.

@fesshole This isn't failing! This is putting your family and their needs first. Times are pretty tough but when you've tried hard and just need a little help, never be ashamed to ask!

I have had to use a food bank today for the first time. I never thought things would get this bad. I feel crap as a husband and father for failing my family. But I want to thank the people in the food bank. The nicest kindest people you could meet.

#LDInsight I encourage everyone to stop for a second & look around them. What's the really useful thing nearest to them? A post-it, cup holder, the little fake trolley ££ on your keys Whatever it is, you discovered it and use it over and over without being asked. That's useful

#LDinsight - at the risk of simplifying... It's used, over and over again, not just when you launch or promote it. And/or People say things like "could we do something like that again" Nick Shackleton Jones talks about learning being really useful and fun. I agree!

#LDInsight i guess learner feedback isn't the answer you're looking for here? It's definitely helping though! 😁👍
