Bjork was winning draws against Canada's best playing 1st line Center and was on the 1st PP and 1st PK lines taking draws. He fit in well playing against Celebrini, Crosby and O'Reilly. Schefeile was 2nd line winger so he's fine

The strangest people on Canadian social media are not the Americans cheering against Canada. It is the Canadians doing it. When the United States takes a shot at Canada, these accounts line up to clap like they are hoping for approval. Accounts like @tablesalt, @wealthmoose, and others seem more interested in defending Washington than standing up for their own country. You do not have to support the government to support Canada. Criticize Ottawa all you want. That is part of being Canadian. But cheering for another country to economically hurt your own is not patriotism. It is political tribalism taken to the point where you forget whose side you are actually on.

🚨🇨🇦 This Is Why Canada Day No Longer Feels Worth Celebrating A Canada Day event in NE Calgary turned into a disgusting mess. The park was covered in trash, plates, bottles, and food waste everywhere, and a brave Canadian woman trying to clean it up or confront the litterers was completely ignored. No one helped. No one cared. This is what rapid, unchecked mass immigration has done to our public spaces and shared values. The Canadian administration needs to wake up and fix this before it gets worse. Until basic respect for our country and land is restored, maybe we should stop celebrating Canada Day.

Good Friend of IC @JesseGranger_ nails it. Stuart Skinner is a solid goalie with a proven track record of winning in junior and in the NHL. As far as Hellebuyck goes. I still think he gets traded to CAR/BUF/Enter team here.

The reaction on this app to Skinner's contract is absolutely baffling to me. Is he elite? Of course not. Is he a legit NHL starter? No question. The guy played his way to 2-straight Stanley Cup Finals, and just signed for less AAV than Kevin Lankinen. Slightly more than Joel Hofer, Alex Nedeljkovic, Charlie Lindgren, etc. That's a fantastic contract for the Jets.

Piecing together everything the last few days from all angles. To me it feels like: BUF’s breaking point, final big offer was likely: 4, Mrtka, Norris, UPL For Hellebuyck,8 WPG was hesitant on 8 unless Helenius or Ostlund WPG was willing to do this without 8/Mrtka included, Jarmo balked there. Both sides clearly viewed Rudolph > Mrtka Fair play all around, and can see how both sides felt they got close but ultimately stayed at the 5 yard line.
