Hello, I will make this brief and concise. In this case, per the evidence supporting the ban, you went up to their base and warned them that if they did not return your loot to them, you would leak the server they are on to their viewers and their community. Per our rules on our website; "Intentionally calling out content creators in the server that are not using their real name or information in game will fall under this rule as well and will result in moderation" This act falls within the scope of that rule and as such, moderation action was taken. We invite any player banned for such rule violation to appeal honestly and openly. Unfortunately you denied having any involvement in doing any of the aforementioned acts, thus your appeal was denied. Should you decide to appeal again, we request full honesty and transparency.

I wanted to share what happened because this ban honestly doesn't make sense to me. On June 19, 2026, I was playing Rust with my 8-man group. We built around Launch Site, and as someone with around 8,000 hours in Rust, I have a pretty good sense of when something feels suspicious. We ran into two players who were both extremely good and had awareness well above what you'd expect from the average player. I reported both of them and ended up having about an hour long conversation with the admins because I genuinely believed they were cheating. I checked them with Atlas, and one account showed around 300 hours while the other had only 80 hours, which made me even more suspicious. After reporting them, I started looking for their base so that if they ended up getting banned, we could raid it and recover some loot. Eventually, I found it. Then one of them spoke in voice chat. Almost instantly, I thought, "That sounds like a content creator." The microphone quality, the voice, everything about it stood out. I sent both Steam IDs to an admin friend, and all he replied with was a smirk emoji. I asked the server admins, "Is this Frost?" Their response was, "No, it is definitely not." Looking back, that response almost felt like they were trying to hint at something without admitting it. I walked up to them in-game, talked with them for a bit, and said, "Frost and Hjune, I know it's you." That was a complete guess. I had no proof whatsoever. I even checked both of their Twitch channels afterward, and neither of them had streamed that wipe, so there was no possible way I could have stream-sniped them. The only reason I guessed was because I'd previously run into Chasetb20 and Hjune on another server, so I recognized Hjune's voice. Today I logged onto Rustopia and found out I'd been policy banned. I asked an admin why, and they claimed it was for stream sniping. I asked them to show me the stream or any evidence, and the response I got was, "That's not my job." I explained that I wasn't even 100% sure it was them it was literally a guess based on a familiar voice. Then they accused me of blackmailing them. When I asked how that was blackmail, they couldn't explain it. Instead, they simply replied, "You know what, son? You're going to stay banned." What bothers me the most is that I provided screenshots, explanations, timestamps, and more evidence than I probably needed to. In return, I wasn't shown a single piece of evidence against me. Nothing. It honestly feels like if those players hadn't been well-known content creators—or if they had been much smaller creators—I wouldn't have been banned at all. It feels like the rules changed because of who they were rather than what actually happened. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's genuinely how it looks from my perspective. I also don't like that the support system keeps the admin anonymous. I'm expected to defend myself while having no idea who I'm even talking to, and they can make accusations without showing any evidence to back them up. I don't even play Rustopia very often, but being permanently banned over something I genuinely didn't do is frustrating. I just want a fair review of what actually happened and to see the evidence that supposedly justifies this ban. One more thing I'd like to point out: after that night, I left and played on a completely different server. I never ran into them again. If I were actually stream sniping, I would have continued following them around or trying to find them, but I didn't. That's one of the biggest pieces of evidence that I wasn't stream sniping in the first place. There is so much evidence that supports my side, yet none has been shown against me. What I don't understand is how the admins expected me to be completely honest and provide screenshots, explanations, and timestamps, but they weren't willing to be transparent themselves. That makes zero sense to me. First, I was told I was banned for stream sniping. After I explained why that wasn't possible, the reason suddenly changed to me supposedly threatening to blackmail them, which I never did. Then all of my appeals were closed, and I was told that if I made one more appeal, I'd be permanently banned from both the Discord and the server. That's not professional at all. If there's legitimate evidence against me, then show it. If there isn't, then I don't think it's fair to keep changing the reason for the ban while refusing to provide any proof. If anyone from the Rustopia staff is willing to take another look at this case, I'd genuinely appreciate it. @RustopiaServers @Frawzt @h7une I'm not trying to start drama or attack anyone. I'm simply asking for transparency. If I really stream-sniped or broke the rules, show me the evidence. If there isn't any, I'd appreciate having this ban reviewed fairly.
