Scoop: Germany has apparently issued an export license for a submarine to Israel. Today, the parent company of TKMS, supplier of corvettes and submarines to Israel, held its AGM and told shareholders that an export license for a submarine ordered by Israel has been issued. 1/6

How is it even possible that a country can sanction one of its own citizens in its own territory? Surely, if they committed a crime, you convict them. If they committed no crime, let them be. Otherwise, why even have a justice system?
