Mamdani has failed to deliver the socialist utopia he promised during his campaign with promises of free busing and daycare.
Instead, NYC is facing a "budget crisis" and the state has seen a massive outflow of 114k residents since Mamdani's campaign in 2025.

TODAY: New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani attended and prayed at the funeral for slain deli worker Abdul Saleh on Thursday afternoon in Brooklyn, following the fatal shooting at Manhattan Deli. The Janazah funeral prayer was held at 1 p.m. at the Beit El-Maqdis Islamic Center on 6th Avenue in Brooklyn. Saleh, 28, was shot and killed late at night during a dispute outside the Alphabet City deli where he worked, according to police and prior reporting by the New York Post. Authorities said an argument escalated onto the sidewalk around 11:30 p.m. before gunfire erupted.
