So many of us campaigned far too hard in 2020 for an independent redistricting commission set-up via constitutional amendment.
Setting a precedent for the commission to be overridden & for any party to get “temporary” changes is very bad.

Despite the usual political headwinds of a midterm four Democratic legislators have become Republicans under Trump term two. Cochran is the only one to switch into the superminority though. All others joined the majority party.

Three of the 4 Democrats that Ben Rhodes wants to primary are in Trump districts: Reps. Landsman, Cuellar and Golden.
In all likelihood, more-progressive candidates sounding like Rhodes would lose badly and cost Dems valuable House seats.
