Doing research for a trip just now just now and discovered that AA doesn’t have any domestic widebody flights out of LAX the first week of Dec (didn’t check any other weeks). Where’d they all go?

Wow!! I never thought that we’d ever see the day that Southwest Airlines would eliminate the open seating thing. Didn’t see this one coming.

@socalpaulschulz No firm dates, but the extra legroom seats will likely roll out sometime next year.

After almost 9 years, Carlsbad Airport is finally set to get commercial service again! (Excluding JSX). Allegedly American plans 2 daily flights to PHX sdbj.com/transportation…

Watching @airlinevideos livestream from Grand Rapids last night made me realize how much GRR has grown over the last 20 years. It’s nothing like I remember! Here’s a pic I took from there way back in December of 2003:

Had a really nice up close view of ANA’s Flying Honu A380 (JA382A) while sitting and waiting for a gate to open up after arriving from LAX last week. What a unit!

@uponarriving Just stay the course. It’s impossible to fail if you keep producing great content and diversity your traffic sources. My mistake was relying too much on Google traffic. Lesson learned.

News: @Delta is adding its 10th route to Amsterdam. Daily seasonal service from Tampa kicks off on Oct. 26. This route was last served in 2019. Delta will deploy an Airbus A330-300 on TPA-AMS. Delta’s 9 other AMS gateways are ATL, BOS, DTW, MSP, JFK, MCO, PDX, SLC, SEA.

@paul_winginit Yeah, it was great! Having to pay for every little thing just like how it is on a low-cost carrier is interesting - but I didn’t mind it at all.

Should we be concerned that my ZIPAIR flight from SFO to NRT yesterday was almost empty in economy? Premium cabin was 100% full though!

@bangosbucks I thought they were doing pretty good actually. I haven’t heard any rumblings about poor performance so maybe it was just an anomaly.

I don’t love advertisements on podcasts (who does?), but @crankyflier @jonostrower @BrianSumers make their advertisements fun, entertaining and informative on The Air Show.
