After climbing nearly a mile in elevation since entering Colorado, eastbound trains traverse the headwaters of the Colorado River, then pass under the Continental Divide via the Moffat Tunnel and charge down the steep eastern face of the Front Range along South Boulder Creek.

Tried to head to Denver just now for a work meeting and barely made it to Table Mesa in South #Boulder before we decided not to ford the river and turned around. Stay safe out there!!
