I would have absolutely no problem with a 50/50 split if the man also became pregnant, gave birth to a child, went through life-changing physical and mental changes, and continued to be the primary care givers of the children. Anything else is unfair to me. I will contribute what I choose, but I will never accept a 50/50 financial split with a man. Many men from Africa understand this because that’s how they were raised by their parents except for those who move to the West, adopt a 50/50 arrangement with a woman, and still expect to be the head of the family. You don't necessarily need to take care of the woman's personal needs if she is working, but you need to take care of your kids and other household logistics.

The Secretary General of @CAF_Media, Mr. @VeronMosengo has officially stepped down following mounting pressure over his continued stay in office beyond the mandated retirement rules. CAF regulations clearly define age limits and term extensions, and his tenure had exceeded those boundaries raising serious concerns about governance, transparency, and the legality of decisions made during that period. While there was no major scandal, the growing tension within CAF leadership and calls for accountability made his position increasingly untenable. His resignation appears to be a move to restore stability and protect the integrity of African football administration. This situation highlights the importance of respecting institutional rules and ensuring strong governance in football. What are your thoughts on this development? 🤔⚽ Looks like #senegal is going to be the downfall of CAF. They have brought out the corruption level within CAF and now everyone seems to be running away.😀😀😀 #AFCON2025 #morroco #AFCON #relatable

I found this on TikTok this morning. I was actually shedding tears as I watched it. @der_neukoellner, thank you for speaking up for thousands of migrants. Most often, people do not fight back because they understand they are uninvited guests especially refugees. So, I blame some of our governments, who forced their citizens to look for greener pastures due to bad governance. @dieLinke #Governance #racism #migration #bundestag #germany

US President Donald Trump issued a warning on Saturday that if Iran does not fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz “without threat” within 48 hours, Washington will “hit and obliterate” the country’s power plants, starting with the largest. Trump demanded Tehran restore safe passage through the vital oil waterway in a post on Truth Social.

The implementation of an international legal framework mandating direct presidential leadership in military engagements could potentially lead to a reduction in armed conflicts, mitigate national devastation, and decrease civilian casualties, including those among children. It is noteworthy that leaders often direct military operations from secure locations while their own families remain protected, a practice that warrants critical examination. Addressing this cycle of violence is imperative. #Iran #lebanon #UkraineKrieg #isreal #america #russia

Anglophone Separatist Leaders' Appeal: Supreme Court Quashes Centre Regional Court Of Appeal Ruling In its third hearing on Thursday, March 19, 2026, the Supreme Court of Cameroon sitting in Yaounde gave its ruling in the appeal filed on March 3, 2020 by 10 Anglophone separatist leaders led by Julius Sisiku Ayuk Tabe. They were picked up in Abuja, Nigeria on January 5, 2018. The 10 had appealed against the ruling by the Centre Regional Court of Appeal of September 18, 2020, confirming the judgement of the Yaounde Military Tribunal of August 20, 2019, which sentenced the 10 separatist leaders to life imprisonment. For amongst others, aiding and abetting terrorism. In her brief judgement that lasted less than five minutes, Mrs. Justice Abomo Marie Louise, the President of the jury, quashed the ruling of the Centre Regional Court of Appeal. And sent the matter back to the same Court "for a different and properly constituted jury to hear the appeal of the 10 Anglophone separatist leaders afresh. " Reacting to the ruling, Senior Barrister Akere Muna, one of the lead counsel for the appellants, described it as "unprecedented, given the politically-charged nature of the trial." Barrister Akere nevertheless qualified the ruling as a "victory" for the appellants. More so, the fact that the appellants were given ample time to be heard by the court during the trial. @africatechie @daddyhope @ChrisFomunyoh @cwjroberts #justice4nera10 #cameroon #Anglophonecrisis

I respectfully but firmly dissent from the decision of the @CAF_Media Appeal Board in this matter. The ruling to declare the Senegal National Team as having forfeited the AFCON 2025 Final, thereby awarding a 3–0 victory to the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football (FRMF), represents a profound miscarriage of sporting justice and undermines the integrity of African football. At the heart of this case lies the principle of proportionality. Even if one were to accept that certain actions by the Senegal team fell within the scope of Articles 82 and 84 of the AFCON Regulations, the sanction imposed is grossly excessive. A final arguably the most important match in African football should not be decided in a boardroom unless the most extreme and unequivocal circumstances demand it. No such threshold has been convincingly met here. Football is defined by competition on the pitch, not by administrative rulings after the fact. By overturning the result of a final and replacing it with a technical forfeit, the Appeal Board has effectively deprived players, fans, and the broader football community of a fair and sporting conclusion. This decision sets a dangerous precedent where disciplinary interpretations can outweigh the actual outcome of play. Furthermore, the inconsistency in sanctions raises serious concerns. While Senegal faces the ultimate penalty of forfeiture, other acknowledged violations such as misconduct, ball boy interference, and external disruptions resulted only in reduced fines or partial sanctions. This imbalance creates the perception of selective enforcement and erodes confidence in CAF’s disciplinary framework. The role of a governing body is not merely to enforce rules, but to uphold the spirit of the game. In this instance, that spirit has been compromised. The decision risks damaging CAF’s credibility, fostering distrust among member associations, and casting a shadow over the legitimacy of its competitions. For these reasons, I find the ruling not only legally questionable but also deeply unjust. It is a decision that diminishes the essence of fair play and stands as a disservice to African football. #football #CAF #corruption @sergehopejordan @daddyhope @football @africatechie

Those who sacrificed their freedom for our future are on a hunger strike. Despite our differences, they are willing to give up everything for a better Ambazonia. They deserve our support through prayers, toiletries, food, vitamins, etc. They are our heroes, always one family.

Dear @PoliceNG I just read the post below from the verified handle of Regina Daniels the wife of @Prince_NedNwoko. This is disheartening and should be investigated. We understand being a Senator in Africa is like being a demi god and using law enforcement to oppress us is normal.

It reaches another level entirely when the social media handler of your 92-year-old president blocks you on Twitter, even after forcing you into exile. Instead of blocking us, why not listen to the voices and legitimate wishes of the people? #democracy #HumanRights #cameroon
