I had a call with the Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas @araghchi . We discussed the situation in Iran and the spiralling escalation in the Middle East. Diplomatic solutions and de-escalation are urgently needed. I emphasized the need to end the strikes on neighbouring countries and restore freedom of navigation in the Strait Hormuz especially regarding the humanitarian aspect of global food security with a focus on fertilizers and other essential goods. Regarding the Iranian nuclear program Austria supports any diplomatic way forward that leads to a new agreement and full cooperation with the @iaeaorg . In times like this it is important to maintain dialogue.

You walk into our country, barely months into the job, and already feel so entitled that you think you can look down on the very people who have carried the weight of Kenyan football for decades? Arocho is not just a journalist he is a walking archive of Kenyan football. When McCarthy was still Googling what “Harambee Stars” meant, Arocho was pitchside, giving his blood, sweat, and voice to support our boys. But now a foreigner, still struggling to get Kenyan nationality, dares to snub a man whose name is synonymous with our local game? McCarthy is a guest here. Many like him have come before some with promise, most with pride and they’ve all packed their bags and left. Kenya doesn't revolve around your ego, and God is not from your village. If this is the kind of attitude you bring snobbery, arrogance, and disrespect then maybe you’re not here to build football, you're here to boost your résumé and bounce.
