Why on earth is the UK spending £108 MILLION on a "Climate Investment Fund" for Pakistan? Call me frugal, but I don't think we should be sending hundreds of millions of pounds to a country with its own space program and ongoing nuclear weapons facility.

Disgusted by comments on GB News suggesting a so called “religious motivation” for serious crimes, singling out Muslims and Islam. There is no evidence that any religion motivates sexual violence. Crime is committed by individuals, not faiths. This kind of commentary shifts attention away from the victims, who should be the sole focus, and does nothing to support justice, accountability, or healing. It actively harms by inflaming prejudice rather than addressing the real issue of violence. It is unacceptable that this went unchallenged. Conflating crime with religion fuels Islamophobia and division, and helps no victim whatsoever. We must not allow hatred to divide us.

I'm deeply concerned about the wellbeing of prisoners who were involved in Palestine Action protests, and are currently on hunger strike. Some have not eaten for six weeks. A number have been hospitalised. They are all being held on remand - without trial or conviction. I have signed @johnmcdonnellMP’s EDM calling on the Justice Secretary to ensure their human rights are upheld, and we wrote directly to the Justice Secretary last week.

Whilst speaking at the Freedom of Speech event today in London, I spoke about Jodie Sheeran. She was raped as a child and became pregnant. On Eid, they gang raped her again, throwing curry powder over her, and then her case was dropped by CPS. Jodie is no longer with us, as she sadly passed away — but we must always remember her name. Her name was Jodie Sheeran.
