Quick MT2 update. My second day (yesterday)I took it right before heading to the gym and hit the tanning bed. I had zero side effects or symptoms.
24 hours later No noticeable change in skin tone from one trip to the tanning bed.
Going to hit the tanning bed again tomorrow. Going to do one more dose at .5 then ramp it up to 1 on Thursday.

Nice this one didn’t take the long way here

Was out of town on Friday lifting with the @AntiDoc but all Elite Research fundraiser tees have been shipped. If you don't see the tracking, check spam. If you don't see it in spam, just email me and I'll send it over. Thanks again for all the support! @trinity2pointO

Have to be totally honest here…
I don’t think I could get up at 5 am to workout if I wasn’t on testosterone.
It’s a real struggle getting up early to train (not a morning guy…like to take my time first thing) but have no choice now that my work schedule has changed and I have to report to the office by 830am.
Was thinking about it this morning in my way to the gym..
If I didn’t have “rocket fuel” flowing trough me (aka testosterone) there is probably a small chance I could get up on my own and train at the butt crack of dawn.
Low T guys don’t have a chance

@BowTiedYukon Side note. Who the fuck cares what people think of em anyway. Fuck em.

@BigDadEnergyX I’m 194 now but when I was 215 I thought I was small af. I was looking at pictures from 5 years ago last night and I looked huge lol. The dysmorphia complex is real.
English

In bodybuilding, the body dysmorphia joke is actually real.
Here’s the awful part, and it’s worth naming because it affects how you’ll experience any cycle:
You will likely not see the changes you’re getting in real time. That’s the bodybuilder paradox.
Daily mirror checks adapt to gradual changes. You’ll see the same person, possibly thinking “I’m not growing” or “I look smaller than yesterday” while everyone around you is being put on notice.
This is universal among lifters and bodybuilders, especially during growth phases. The brain’s adaptive perception means:
• You see what you saw yesterday + a tiny delta you can’t perceive
• Mirror dysphoria is worst during growth phases (water shifts, glycogen variability, lighting differences create false signals)
•Side-by-side photos taken weeks apart are the only reliable visual progress indicator
• Tape measurements + scale weight + photos are objective; mirror is unreliable
Pretty sick, huh? Haha.
The best way to combat the negative voices is to compare photos every Nth week. For me, every 4 weeks is a good timeframe.
You’ll still probably hate yourself, but at least you know you’re growing or cutting.

If ordering a kit of pins and BAC water for your DYI peptides is a major issue you probably shouldn’t be doing peptides on your own. It’s a small litmus test.
Nothing is more frustrating than trying to help someone who can’t help themselves.
They want to pay $50 a bottle and have everything done for them.
If you’re paying dirt cheap prices for peptides, don’t expect white glove service.
The truth is some people are just better off going through a clinician and getting finished product that is already reconstituted.
Not everyone should be ordering peptides from a buddy or a website.
It’s perfectly okay some people pay a premium to have their hand held and for that extra peace of mind that comes from going through a clinic.

@DeanTTraining One of my favorites is beef and rice. Chopped up pickles. Ketchup and mustard.
English

You are just 1-2 bowls of this per day for the next 6-12 months away from your best body ever
Perhaps the craziest part:
You’ll actually THOROUGHLY ENJOY eating it….

Your Average Gym Bro@AvgBrownsFan
@DeanTTraining Americans can easily get slop bowl ingredients and eat healthy every single day while saving money.. comes down to discipline and consistency

@lynssss3125 I’ve wired a fuck ton of dental offices. Anyway I get talking to some of the secretaries. Go with a dental club or plan as opposed to dental insurance. I pay $200 annually and it includes X-rays and cleaning. Any dental work is prorated at a discounted rate.
English

So incoming kindergartners need a dental exam. It’s good to do at a young age, do obvious reasons, but I also have a concern.
I call the Dentist we’ve been going to since my kids were old enough.
Exam: $150, plus x-rays, an ADDITIONAL $250. But we can’t do a cleaning this appointment, we can do that in July. Which of course is another $150-200.
Called a different reputable pediatric dentist.
Exam: $112, plus x-rays, TOTAL: $165. And we can do a cleaning at this appointment, at the end of May.
Always shop around before you commit.
English

This happens.
Many parents would smuggle alcohol when my kids played travel soccer.
I despise these people.
Zak Blair@coachzblair10
Parents really posted this prior to a tournament game. How isn't 1 person in the group like, "Nah, this probably isn't a good idea." As their daughters warm up behind them. 🤦🏼♂️

@bryan_johnson Take steroids like a man for muscle growth. No one is taking peptides to grow.
English

Bodybuilders use the peptide CJC-1295 to grow muscle.
I tried it for two weeks. Unexpectedly, it changed how my body responded to 200°F sauna protocol.
First, the good.
I spent more total time above the heat shock protein (HSPs) threshold. This is when my core body temperature reaches 102.2°F and heat shock proteins are released.
Before CJC, total time in HSP land was 9 minutes (with face cooling).
On day 9 of CJC, it rose to 15 minutes. Resulting in more HSP exposure per session.
Now the bad.
It took me 13 minutes longer to reach the target heat shock threshold of 102.2°F. From 41 minutes to reach threshold at baseline to 53 minutes on day 9.
This is an insane level of primal panic to be in 200°F for 53 min.
Max core temperature remained below the 103°F mark (39.4°C)
The sauna session went from 41 minutes total to 56 minutes total to get the HSP benefit.
CJC raises growth hormone which causes the body to retain more water and sodium. More water means more thermal mass which means core temperature rises slower. The body is harder to heat up.
A second interesting data point.
My max sauna heart rate dropped from 135 to 128 bpm while the core body temp remained the same.
For a bodybuilder, this water retention helps performance and physique. For someone using sauna for HSP activation, it is a tradeoff. You bank more HSP time per session, but you pay for it with substantially longer sessions.
I've stopped CJC-1295 DAC.
The side effect burden outweighed the benefit. A 6 minute gain in HSP exposure is not worth 14 extra minutes in the sauna plus the unknowns of sustained GH elevation. It disrupted my REM sleep and caused clear blood sugar disruption with early insulin resistance signals (posting soon).
In 2 weeks I will retest after washout. If time to threshold returns to 40 minutes, the GH mechanism is confirmed. If it stays elevated, what I observed was heat acclimation.
Peptides are great, we just don't know much about them.

English

@kalos21million I don’t think so. I’m in a healthy range. Makes sense with less bf and water retention.
English

@SSS_rebel I think if Reta is correcting something then the net effect can definitely be a drop in HR and BP. Increases are what is most commonly reported though.

Had a gym bro text me last night while eating dinner with the fam:
**only God knows what all he’s blasting**
HIM: I’m holding so much water, idk why. I drink a lot of water a day! Should I stop creatine.
ME: How much water? How about electrolytes? What all you told me you were running, I promise it isn’t the creatine. You’re bloated, it’s subq.
HIM: Around 2 20oz bottles. Electrolytes?! That’s a real thing?? 🙄
ME: Dude! ATLEAST a gallon! How’s your blood pressure and get your E2 tested along with a full blood panel. I’ll send you all you need to get tested.
HIM: I need to check my BP. How much does a blood panel cost and what is E2? My bloodwork has always been good when I go donate blood once a year. Can tren mess up my markers and make me hold water?
ME: First I want to say what the fuuuuuuck. Second, your using gear and idk what all peptides and your asking me how much $ bloodwork is, and dumb questions you should know the answer to!
