During the launch of the Advisory Committee for the Science, Technology, Research and Innovation (STRI) for Society Week 2026 - we held productive engagement. Convened by the @ScienceRI_Kenya, in collaboration with the @nacosti @nrfkenya @keniaupdates, this inaugural national platform will take place 18–22 May 2026 in Nairobi 🇰🇪 This inaugural national platform will demonstrate how #science, #technology #research and #innovation translate into practical solutions that improve lives, strengthen our economy, and drive sustainable development. STRI 4 Society Week will bring together researchers, innovators, industry leaders, policymakers, development partners and students to showcase Kenya’s scientific excellence and the transformative role of science and technology in national development. The Advisory Committee will play a vital role in guiding the planning and successful delivery of this flagship event, ensuring it reflects Kenya’s growing leadership in research, innovation and knowledge-driven development. Through this initiative, we aim to strengthen collaboration across the Research, Science, Technology and Innovation (RSTI) ecosystem, accelerate the translation of research into impactful solutions, and position Kenya as a hub for innovation in Africa.
