NEWS: Tesla is rolling out another free 30 day FSD trial to some owners in North America. For some owners, this is the third free FSD trial they've received this year. This is another push to get people to try the latest version of FSD (Supervised), V13.

TIMES DO GET BETTER: Not everyone is happy at Christmas. For some, it is the first Christmas without a loved one. For others, they are under financial strain, or dealing with behavioral health issues in their families. Some are just lonely with no family left. Maybe you are just physically and emotionally exhausted, and are simply trying to find the magic of this season you knew from childhood. For those that are struggling, times do get better. I am not working the TV shift this week; taking some time to spend with family. I took this photo this evening looking southwest from our home. We get a marvelous sunset view. But, you see, it wasn’t always this way. The southwest view was basically blocked by hundreds of trees until March 25, 2021, when an EF-3 tornado tore through and hit our home. Damage was widespread, and it was a rough road for a while. But, times did get better, and now we get the blessing of seeing the sunset after the tornado. This view is just a happy reminder of this marvelous season for me. Just understand your challenging times won’t last forever, and one day soon you will have something like this to be thankful for despite the pain you feel today.

@wxgarrett @NOAANSSL When I met with DL Johnson, head of NWS in 2002 about the radar gap in the CLT Metro he said goal was PAR would be operational by 2020. NWS today still says 5-10 yrs for deployment. Let’s hope!
