Have seen 1-2 instances now on 14.2.2.5 CT where on FSD it wanders 1,2, or more lanes away from where it should be for an imminent turn then just miss it. Not catastrophic or a safety issue, just reroutes but obviously a priority bug. Anyone else seeing this? @Tesla_AI

@mrfundman No reasonable expectation to transfer forever. Do think it’s fair to expect unlimited transfers up until FSD unsupervised is shipped in the region it was purchased.

Unpopular opinion: Tesla should stop playing games with FSD transfers. Let everyone who paid full price and was an early supporter of the software ability to transfer it to new Teslas FOREVER.

@SawyerMerritt I don’t understand all confusion/frustration. This was simply a temp sale to introduce and increase knowledge of a new trim.

I should be able to subscribe to FSD and use it in any of my Teslas. Basically, it should be tied to my Tesla account. So if I rent a Tesla on Turo, or a Tesla with Hertz, or I borrow a friend’s Tesla, then I should have access to FSD without having to subscribe again. This only makes sense now that FSD has moved to subscription only.

Tesla sales a Model 3 - TODAY - with 321 miles of range, and seating for 5. The autonomous Cybercab at $30k is not even kind of impossible. It's much smaller, seats 2, and has no frunk. It's totally geared for efficiency! What I wonder... and if you read between the lines, you'll have your answer.... Is... How does FSD licensing work here?

@wholemars Offer deep discounted promotional pricing for 12 months instead of free trials so buyers are paying customer. After buying a new car everyone will sign up at $20 a month. After a year most will keep it active at $99

The flow on the left won’t convert as well as the flow on the right Do I want to commit to $99 a month or pay nothing? I’m going to lean towards justifying paying nothing But offer a longer free trial or some carrot to people who subscribe at order time? That will work better

@elonmusk @tweetciiiim Demo FSD pulling a maneuver where it goes up on 2 wheels in order to get narrow and avoid a collision. It’s just math. No reason a demo model can’t be trained to do this.

If Tesla and SpaceX merge, that would make SpaceX/xAI about 50% of the combined entity. But most Teslanaires would not sell 50% of their $TSLA to buy SpaceX themselves which is what the merger does. Do you support Tesla merging with SpaceX/xAI

@bradsferguson Fair q, idk. I don’t want to have to time the buy, wait after a divergence or average in. My Preference is one instrument that owns all of everything. Whatever the math says my shares convert to I’m good with

@CernyLibor @alojoh Agree, that’s just the math of it, that many miss. To meet the goal he has to add 7T in value to the market cap. Dilution whether thru secondary or acquisition is just one lever that he can pull as part of that process that’s required to get there.

@SaaSy_Tesla @alojoh On a per-share diluted basis. In other words, when earnings milestones are met, they count against a much larger number of shares, and hence the share price needs to be lower. Just stating the facts.

Elon talked about how Tesla had a chance to become the most valuable company on the planet worth as much as the next 5 combined most valuable combined. How is this supposed to work with SpaceX/xAI around? The answer: Tesla must acquire SpaceX/xAI. Also, in terms of Elon’s new compensation package, acquiring SpaceX/xAI would make achieving both the market cap and operational milestones (eg EBITDA) A LOT easier or at least much faster. There is no limit in Elon’s new comp package on how Tesla achieves these milestones: whether Tesla achieves earnings goals on its own or via acquisitions does not matter. Would also make no sense from a corporate finance perspective to isolate drivers. All big companies use M&A to drive and augment growth. A Tesla Space/xAI acquisition would be no different.
