Question. Is there a scientific reason why, the older I get the easier it is to fall asleep easily on the couch in the daytime if I want to yet literally can't fall asleep at night for ages then wake up multiple times until morning 😴 😂🤷

Who's the worst lefty on @GBNEWS ? Jonathan Lis. Sebastian Salek. Nutty Nina. Benjamin Butterworth. Matthew Stadlen. Matthew the gabbler with the moustache. Or, and she'll deny being a lefty, Miriam Cates.

Could any retirees complaining about how hard it was to buy a house fifty years ago (it wasn’t) tell us how much stamp duty they paid?

@NinaPanickssery Because my pension age has been raised from 60 to 67, so still working. Similarly women would retire at 60 and care for the grandchildren or parents. Hence the rise in rip off child care/elderly care here in the UK.

Genuinely curious—why don’t more people use their own parents/kid’s grandparents for childcare as opposed to daycare/preschool/nannies (which seem more common)? Is it common for boomer grandparents to show disinterest in their grandchildren?

@BritanniaDailyy No decisive action again “ let’s have another meeting” Reminds me of the Father Ted Speed 3 episode when they were clueless - let’s have another mass. Also if our naval fleet has shrunk to laughable numbers, why has the MOD wages; navy dept. Gone through the roof?

@AvonandsomerRob @christwine3 My appetite is about a third what it used to be - I’d a appreciate the option for a half portion whilst meeting up with mates. If they refuse, I’ll just ask for a sandwich or soup to be served at same time as everyone else’s main meal.

@christwine3 The price is also subsidised. Its not proportionally cheaper. It relies on the full-price adult meals so the eatery can make a profit.

Something got me thinking. I've seen people say they have purchased a "Child Portion" of a meal from a restaurant. It's often a Sunday Roast - and it's usually adult women. I don't think you should be allowed to do that. Why? You're getting about 70% of the portion for less than half the price, and the restaurant is subsidising that meal because it is meant for a child that cokes with parents who are buying full meals. Should restaurants only allow child portions to be purchased by parents with children, conditional that the adults pay full price for their food?

@AlgooshPortal @NoContextBrits I’d happily remove half :- Egg - got to be HOT Peas - why? I’ll stick with chop chips and mushrooms- can’t be fannying around with vine tomatoes- just give me real fried tomatoes. Is that toast on the side? Nah, I want fried bread. I’ll save gammon and pineapple for tomorrow.

@TeddyCatPier @fecklessfox1000 Did similar, filled both vehicles up a week before it all kicked off. Sadly, many cannot read the room and plan ahead. Still got 300 miles in the tank; I mainly WFH but it’s an option for himself to use mine to get to work. Supermarkets should keep fuel back for home deliveries.

I’ve seen a couple of long queues at petrol stations today. I’m confused as there isn’t a current shortage is there? (I have an electric car so maybe I’m out of the loop)

@LeeAndersonMP_ @bigfanofmykids @reformparty_uk Why is it only Reform MPs, councillors and those attending the events that seem so happy? Is it because they are the only party that believe in their mission? LD, Lab, Green, Tory events are always so miserable or appear to be “forced fun”. Just my observation.

@Alison6123 Esme is giving all the signals that George needs, a chance, trust, confidential chat etc. Suggest you start marinating your hat now to make it more palatable 😉 👒 🍴 Amber’s initial obsession with George was weird - like the death row deranged women fans. I like guessing ahead.
