It’s time for America to choose: will the most powerful technology in history be used to harm children, enrich the powerful, and risk American lives? Or will we build it with the values that make America great? We can build AI the American way. We must choose a Better Future.

As my final legislative session comes to a close, I find myself gratefully reflecting on the blessing it has been to serve the people of the great State of Utah. I’ve been encouraged by many to take a look at Utah’s 2nd Congressional District where I live, where I raised my family, and where my children and grandchildren live. While I haven’t made a formal decision at this point, I take these conversations very seriously.

As Utah’s four Republican members of Congress are being squeezed into three seats, it’s time to lay out the facts: Celeste, Burgess, and Mike all signed the repeal of Prop 4. Blake Moore did not. When I asked Blake if he supported repeal, he could not give me a straight answer. Now that the maps have been drawn and he’s seeking a Republican nomination, he must be honest with the people of Utah. Given all that has happened in Judge Gibson’s court, why won’t Blake support the repeal of Prop 4? Even worse, his campaign staff (Peter Watkins of Watkins Global Strategies) is now working for Better Boundaries to oppose repealing it. While Blake is happy with his new seat, it is entirely unfair that one of the three Representatives who have fought so hard to repeal Prop 4 will no longer represent us in Congress. When there is one less Republican in Congress from Utah next year, remember to thank Blake Moore for making it happen.
