His name became shorthand for anyone who ruins a plan by doing something reckless. The whole thing was staged. The group admitted years later it was a scripted re-enactment of something that had actually happened. The cameraman said: “We didn’t think anyone would believe it was real. We thought it was so obviously satire.” The player behind Leeroy Jenkins is a guy named Ben Schulz. He repairs industrial lighting for a living.

Kremer can't be recalled until April 9 — unless he replaces an injured player (Eflin). If the Orioles have Kremer replace Eflin but still want bullpen help, they could also option Yaramil Hiraldo, Anthony Nunez, Grant Wolfram *or* Yennier Cano and bring up an eligible reliever (Albert Suarez, Jackson Kowar).
