What I’ll probably post about here (so you know why you’re following): – Product stuff I have been exploring software products for 2 years now, since 2024 with a developer friend (paused and killed a few, and one is finally running), I've learned a lot of hard truths throughout the journey about making software and the inbetweens. I wanted to share my experiences. – Design Been a designer for over 5 years and consider myself a generalist-specialist, idk if it makes sense, and after the 2 year product exploration, I realized designing is the one thing that I want to keep doing, not just for the money. And I've worked on different interesting projects. I'm now ready to share them all. Process, decisions, half baked drafts, finished work, questions, things that I’m still figuring out, Ai and more. – Random thoughts Stuff I notice, mistakes I make, things I learned, Ai (again) 😅, and more personal related topics. Most of the time useful, and every time just raw & honest.

@shrawberryy True, and there isn't a willingness to learn as well. It took me so long til I started learning it.

@Samson_Teshale_ there may be a little bit of a learning curve I agree but there’s so many resources out there and people are always willing to help!

@jamesm Now looking at it side by side, I see what you mean by readability. Will also work on the letter spacing

@jamesm Thank you James, just made everything with that typeface an uppercase and secondary typeface with lower case for inputs and body texts. Will scan everything again for typography fix. This is a really cool insight. 🙌

One feature I especially loved about designing this project was adding an extra layer of visualization for viewers, allowing them to see the floor plan and understand exactly where each photo was taken as they scroll through the site.
