@hvgoenka Sir, we have come long way and 49% Indians accounting for 57% of total wealth is clear rise of the middle class. We need put in more work to uplight poor. But India has eradicated extreme poverty that existed until 2000.

We are all proud India is now among the world’s largest economies. But distribution matters. About 40% of India’s wealth is held by the top 1%, while the bottom 50% own barely 3%. GDP tells us the size of the economy. Inequality tells us how most Indians actually live.

Reviewed the operations of Indigo along with senior officials of Ministry of Civil Aviation and DGCA. I have instructed the DGCA and concerned officials at the Ministry to keep a close watch on the network and directed Indigo to normalize the operations at the earliest.
