@jeremykauffman Idk, I think there is a moral difference between "people with my skin color are inherently better and we should discriminate against minorities because of it" and "people shouldn't be able to exploit people."

AOC is pissing off the most annoying folks on the far-left. She's gaining in more liberal factions & even some centrist factions. She still has the support of common sense leftists and socialists which will further amplify her to higher office.

AOC voted AGAINST H.Amdt. 55 (House Vote #207, July 18, 2025), an amendment to remove the $500 million for Israeli programs. Only 5 Democrats (Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Summer Lee, Al Green, and Cori Bush) and 2 Republicans voting to cut that funding. AOC refused to join the five Democrats who voted in favor of H.Amdt. 55 (House Vote #207, July 18, 2025), which aimed to remove $500 million in funding for Israeli cooperative programs from H.R. 4016, were: Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) Ilhan Omar (D-MN) Summer Lee (D-PA) Al Green (D-TX) Cori Bush (D-MO) The 206 Democrats who voted against H.R. 4016 were not specifically opposing the funding for Israel. Their votes were against the entire bill, likely due to broader concerns such as overall defense spending levels, specific provisions they disagreed with, or policy priorities unrelated to Israel. This is supported by the separate vote on H.Amdt. 55 (House Vote #207, July 18, 2025), where an amendment to remove the $500 million for Israeli programs was rejected 422-6, with only 5 Democrats (Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Summer Lee, Al Green, and Cori Bush) and 2 Republicans (Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie) voting to cut that funding. This shows that the vast majority of Democrats supported maintaining the Israel-related funding. The claim that the 206 Democratic votes against H.R. 4016 were about opposing Israel funding is a misinterpretation, as the bill's scope was far broader, and the specific vote on Israel funding showed strong bipartisan support.

@RepPress @admcrlsn The amendment was to this bill. This bill contains 500 million in increased funding for the Iron dome and other munitions. AOC votes against the entire bill which means she voted against both Iron dome funding and munitions. She voted against increasing funding to Israel.

@SantosSuperFan @admcrlsn You don't seriously think 206 Democrats voted against funding Israel, do you? That was the Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2026 (H.R. 4016) a bill passed by the U.S. House of Representatives on July 18, 2025, with a vote of 221-209

@micah_erfan Stupid degenerates, funding the iron dome does not “fund genocide”. An endless cycle of violence that allows Hamas bombs to get through and kill Israelis, isn’t good for Palestinians either.

@lord_flavor @SocDoneLeft Yeah, that is why she voted no on the bill. She explicitly voted against sending Israel money. Maybe pay attention more.

AOC has many flaws, but grouping her (5th most pro-Palestine Dem) with Torres (189th) is genuinely stupid If Congress had: - 230 Torres types? A million more kid-killer bombs donated to Israel - 230 AOC types? Arms embargo, except Iron Dome - 230 Tlaib types? True arms embargo

.@AOC’s Bronx HQ was redecorated with red paint tonite by a group called the Boogie Down Liberation Front. The group denounced AOC’s vote to fund Israel & the genocide in Gaza & also called out how politicians (like AOC & Ritchie Torres) use the Bronx to further their careers.

@SocDoneLeft But there aren't 230 AOC types, and she still voted in favor of Israel. A vote for Hitler, regardless of what you might not agree with him on, is still a vote for Hitler.

Attacking @AOC's office is a gift to those who prefer our anti-war movement stay busy attacking pro-Palestinian voices in Congress instead of building the political power necessary to stop the bombs. Here's the truth: @AOC is on H.R.3565, the Block the Bombs Act. Is your rep on?
Waleed Shahid 🪬@_waleedshahid

She has one of the strongest pro-Palestinian voting records in Congress. It’s fair to debate strategy and disagreement over specific choices--but vandalizing her office and saying @AOC “funds genocide” isn’t just wrong. It’s reckless, dishonest, misleading, and deeply unserious. imeupolicyproject.org/house2025

@AZAlawieh @AOC When you vote in favor of sending Israel US tax dollars, you are essentially telling them that what they are doing is okay. They are committing a holocaust in case you haven't noticed.

@AZAlawieh @YonahLieberman @AOC I'm happy she's on that bill. But here's more truth, Israel doesn't deserve $500M in US tax dollars right now for anything, especially for war.
