This is Incredible, at the Bank of Dave people are asking for loans for £150 to pay their energy bills and feed themselves. Were currently helping local food banks who are running out of essentials like milk!
& Energy giants are now revealing Record Profits!
How does that work?

Two women died in two countries – one due to natural causes at 96 & the other at 22 murdered because her hejab didn’t please the Islamic Republic of Iran. The World is sad about the One. Ok. But it should also be outraged about the other.#Mahsa_Amini

@OfficialFV Is there any chance you could respond to the countless emails we have sent regarding the collection of the poor quality chairs you supplied in May? We'd also like our deposit back too?

@FreyaMariaO - just messaged you and then found that you have retweeted this!

.@Asda has announced that between 25th july-3rd September all children under 16 can eat a hot or cold meal for £1 in their cafes. All day/every day nationwide with no minimum adult spend. This is to help parents with the cost of living crisis during the summer holidays

@SarahEdenEllis @tombennett71 He may, he may find a job where he feels valued for what he CAN do & not what he can’t.
I was a straight A academic student, my sister wasn’t. School doesn’t fit everyone. That doesn’t mean they don’t find something they can do well & earn a living.

BREAKING: School has rules cornwalllive.com/news/cornwall-…
English

@eleonorasfalcon @tombennett71 I give in. You went to school therefore know best. As an educator for 20 years, I must acknowledge your greater experience.
Hopefully this young man will not face to face consequences in the real world either.
English

@SarahEdenEllis @tombennett71 I’m to old to have had a prom, but we had plenty of links with Young farmers clubs who organised dances pretty much every weekend of the year
But you are missing the point. Prom should mark end of school as a celebration, for everyone! Not be the last petty bit of school control
English

@eleonorasfalcon @tombennett71 Or teaching them that actions have consequences? Organising of a prom is a mammoth task - the risk assessment alone takes hours. I'm sure your daughter's school would happily have handed that over as well as the chaperoning of students until the early hours of the morning.
English

@SarahEdenEllis @tombennett71 No ticket is the only reason for no admission in that list.
Using prom to control year 11 behaviour is, in my opinion, completely wrong.
If our school had attempted it we would have organised our own!
English

@eleonorasfalcon @tombennett71 His parents admit that he was naughty at school. The chances were quite high. Helping students understand the importance of attendance and punctuality is key to a school's role along with education. He also missed a terminal exam - key to his future. Plus he didn't have a ticket.
English

@SarahEdenEllis @tombennett71 He missed an exam, there’s no evidence he was going to be disruptive.
The list for my daughter’s prom was all incredibly pretty stuff about attendance & lateness. It wasn’t safeguarding the event.
English

@eleonorasfalcon @tombennett71 Of course - disruptive students at a celebration in a public space is a brilliant idea 🙄 They can't behave in a school - why would they be different at a prom? Actions have consequences and schools are ALWAYS very clear about the criteria for attending. It's not punishment!
English

@tombennett71 School didn’t tell them before he arrived.
The answer to that is simple, fuck off we are eating our evening meal we will be there at 1am as arranged.
Proms as discipline tools is 100% wrong unless there are actual safeguarding issues
English

@SHSKHo6 @MissNGrace Just no.... nobody with a white skin has the right to ever say that word. No black child should ever hear that word coming from a white person - end of.
There are better books to teach the message. OMAM is done - choose something more in tune with our current audiences.
English

No you should not be saying the N word in your classroom because it’s in the text. You can easily skip the word. #edutwitter
