#WhyILoveKenya 🇰🇪 We recently launched a new video promoting @magicalkenya , and I have seen comments questioning why the campaign appears to target European audiences, with claims that Africans are only portrayed as dancing and serving visitors. Let’s address this with facts. In tourism marketing, every campaign has a specific target market. International tourism is inbound tourism, and it brings much-needed foreign exchange, jobs, and investment into the country. Like any global destination, Kenya must market itself strategically to the markets that travel long-haul. At the same time, Kenya continues to promote tourism to its own people. Our recent domestic campaign, “Hapa Ni Wapi,” was designed specifically to encourage Kenyans to explore and appreciate their own country. Tourism marketing is not a one-size-fits-all strategy. Different markets require different messaging, visuals, and storytelling. So before rushing to conclusions, it helps to understand how global tourism marketing actually works. Kenya’s story is bigger than a single clip. It is about our wildlife, culture, landscapes, hospitality, and people — and sharing that story with the world benefits the entire country. As always, I remain an optimist about Kenya’s future. 🌍✨ @JuneChepkemei good stuff well done

A new chapter in telling Kenya’s story to the world. Magical Kenya – Come Experience the Wonder. Our latest cinematic brand film, “The Origin of Wonder,” invites the world to see Kenya not just as a destination, but as a place of connection where nature, culture, rhythm, and humanity come together in a profound and timeless way. This film is not simply about showcasing attractions. It is a sensory journey that captures the spirit of our nation, the landscapes that inspire awe, the cultures that carry our heritage, and the rhythms that define who we are. Kenya is more than a place you visit. It is a place you feel. A place that reminds us of something ancient within ourselves. Our Origin. As Magical Kenya we welcome the world to rediscover wonder. Wonder in our wildlife, our people, our cultures, and our breathtaking beautiful landscapes. Karibu Kenya. Come experience the wonder. #MagicalKenya #OriginOfWonder #ComeExperienceTheWonder #BrandKenya

For Brandon Robinson Thompson, experiencing Kenya beyond the fairways has been truly unforgettable 🇰🇪 From the thrill of competing at the Magical Kenya Open to breathtaking moments at Nairobi National Park, his journey has been about more than world class golf. It’s the warmth of the people, the beauty of the landscapes, and the spirit of Kenya that leave a lasting impression. ✨ #MagicalKenya #MKO2026 #ExperienceWonder #TembeaKenya

It was great to host global sensation @ishowspeedsui on his #SpeedDoesAfrica tour. During his tour, Kenyans didn't just show up, we showed out! From the moment he landed, the energy has been unmatched, proving why Kenya is the leading hub for digital creativity and youth culture in Africa. From the art of cooking Ugali and Chapati and at the Nairobi National Park, Speed got up close with our majestic wildlife, even feeding a baby rhino he named "Rhinaldo." It’s a beautiful reminder that we are the only city in the world with a National Park at its doorstep. From riding camels at Uhuru Park to playing basketball with the talented youth at the Mukuru Affordable Housing Project, Speed saw the true face of Nairobi: modern, vibrant, and incredibly welcoming. In the heart of the Maasai Mara, he engaged with our heritage through the traditional Maasai jump and partook in the sacred Maasai ritual of drinking milk mixed with blood ,a testament to his respect for our deep-rooted customs. He also experienced the World's Greatest Annual Terrestrial Wildlife Migration site that is officially a part of the World Book of Records. With the livestream shattering records, it placed Kenya at the very top of his African tour rankings. In a breathtaking moment captured live, Speed officially crossed the 48 Million Subscriber mark right here in Nairobi! This visit has demonstrated that Kenya is not just a destination on a map; it is an immersive experience of nature, culture, and humanity. Speed leaves behind more than just viral clips, he leaves a powerful reminder that Kenya is not just a destination ,it is the Cradle of Mankind. You don’t visit Kenya, you remember it, you return to it , you wake up in it! Kenya is open, Kenya is safe, and Kenya is ready to welcome you. Karibuni Kenya, the Origin of Wonder 🇰🇪! @magicalkenya #magicalkenya #originofwonder #cradleofmankind #kenya
