And just like that my season has come to an end. Yesterday while racing in the Nations cup at Watersley I was involved in a crash and went over the handlebars. I knew straight away I wouldn’t be able to carry on. Sadly I have broken both wrists but apart from that I am ok, so I won’t be able to race for a while. I just want to say thank you to @TofautiEA for looking after me so well. I am so lucky to have some amazing people helping me and I have had so many calls and messages of support today. I had some amazing opportunities coming up which sadly I have to miss, but I will be back stronger. Ruby X

@MartinKnight_ I know three boys locally doing paper rounds. It still happens.

There was a time, not so long ago, when an army of boys & girls from 12 years upwards set their alarm clocks for 5.30 a.m. & got dressed, mounted their bikes in all weathers & headed to their local newsagents to carry out their paper round. It was an important introduction to the world of work & to earning dosh for themselves & becoming independent. They are as rare as the rag & bone man now. We will never see their like again.

@g__j New meter fitted about 10 weeks ago and you’re still not getting accurate readings and the app isn’t showing correct readings. When I reported it I was told you could see the readings ok but I’m having to submit manual ones because I don’t get fully charged for both utilities.

No other company does stuff like this. Literally investing in hardware and software to (a) bring more visibility to energy costs and (b) to fix some issues with smart meters

It is tough getting any answers out of the Government on their trade agreements. We don’t know how much money we are giving the EU to accede to their demands just as we do not know how much money we have agreed to pay Mauritius to take our sovereign territory from us.
