1.) Get rid of smart devices like Alexa and other relatively useless shit that just spies on you from your home. You don't need a "smart fridge" or any of that other bullshit. It doesn't immediately make you spyproof but it's less points of invasion to worry about. 2.) Get some storage and start archiving. Doesn't matter. If you want to just archive stuff around your hobbies go for it. If you take it semi-seriously consider getting some real firepower and just mass archiving shit out there. Lots of guides on how to get started + make it efficient. We really have no idea what might end up taken down or unfindable in the future, all it takes is one server room to go down and shit could be gone forever. 3.) ABSOLUTELY REFUSE ID VERIFICATIONS AT ALL COSTS. You can't give them an inch to work with. Bully the fuck out of companies and politicians who try to enact it. Take money from them. You have to vote with your wallet. 4.) Be the most annoying voter humanly imaginable and get your other tech-savvy politically inclined friends to do so to. Spam call your local representatives if you're in an area where they're trying to roll this out. Spam email them. Idgaf they're public officials and this is what they signed up for especially when they're so willing to sell us all down the drain. Let them know they're losing their job if they support this. People just gotta be consistent about the message. If companies and politicians actually feared the backlash of shit like this they'd stop trying to roll it out. They think everyone will submit and be complacent. We either prove them right or we do something about it
