If you give yourself 4 hours to clean your room, you might take 4 hours to clean your room. If there is some urgency to clean the room in an hour, it might only take an hour. The time available to complete a task might be filled even if it could be done much faster. Consider setting time limits if you are not doing it already. How much time is really needed? Does it really need 4 hours?

Something that might be helpful for your life: It can be a wise decision to postpone making decisions if you are emotional. Whether that is an emotional high or down. Emotions can influence they way you see things and decisions. You read something on X that makes you upset and you feel the urge to reply and let it out? Well, if you wait some minutes, you might calm down and you might decide to not reply.

My wife and I are incredibly blessed to have all 4 parents living close as we raise 4 kids. Yesterday my wife’s dad painted a room in our house while we were gone. Today my dad asked, “Can I come over and bring the kids to Dairy Queen?” You can’t put a price on this.

@ibzsmo3k If you take gear and have an unhealthy amount of muscles and stamina issues, does that even qualify as being in shape? Some muscle guys might be like fat people just with muscles.

@joeyyochheim Good, but I personally would create a higher deficit than 500. 500 is not that much and people can misjudge the calories they consume quite a bit. Even if they read the label, it might just be the average calories of the meal anyway. So, the aimed -500 might turn into -200.

@Feralfairy13 Hallucinations do not neccessarily have to be dementia. Also, he might be at an early stage of dementia and thus might still be able to perform well.

I’m working with a 93 yr old. His mind is super sharp, probably one of the healthiest older adults i’ve seen, but he says he often hallucinates & sees things and I’ve always wondered how much of what we call dementia is just the veil thinning the closer we get to the spirit realm

@eternaltxts When you are emotional, it might be a good idea to wait until you calm down when you feel the urge to act on emotion. For example: You read something on X that makes you upset and you feel the need to reply? Should you though? Wait 15 minutes, that urge might pass.

@DearS_o_n Being an introvert and shyness is not the same thing. Nor is it neccessarily better to be an extrovert. I am not sure if you even know what it means to be an introvert. You do not strike me much as a deep thinker.

Fuck being shy. Fuck being an introvert. Believe me or not, strangers will make you rich. Start networking. Make small talk everywhere you go. You never know what kind of connections you'll create. Closed mouths don't get fed, bro.

@Innerdevcrypto There is something called critical thinking...it does not have to be all bad or all good. You can read critically and keep good advice and reject bad.

Bryan Johnson is the worst and most dangerous health guru one can follow, stay away from his advise at all cost: - basically reduced to promoting hallucinogenic drugs now which will damage countless people - knows nothing about development of energy or consciousness - knows nothing about the true keys to longevity: cultivating chi (energy) and jing (essence) - keeps promoting drugs to expand consciousness with all the risks of bad energies or entities hooking on and devastating effects on people that will try without proper energetic protection. Has zero knowledge of the subtle bodies (astral, etheral) - is on a weak vegan diet that makes him even more depleted - but you want the ultimate evidence? just look at the guy? does he look healthy? what does your intuition tell you when you see this pale weird talking guy locked in his home who is freaked out about everything related to a truly happy and healthy life....there you have your answer i have studied his data, read all his posts, and i will give you one very very strong tip: stay away

@newstart_2024 Well, just because he might sleep well and might look younger, does not mean the sleep is the main driver for this, even if he himself thinks that. He is also rich, so has access to things that others do not have access to.

Cristiano Ronaldo at 40 still looks like he’s 25 — and he says the secret is brutally simple. Sleep. He told Will Ahmed that sleep is the single most important tool he has for recovery. His routine is rock-solid: in bed around 11-12, up at 8:30-8:45, and he protects that consistency even when traveling or playing night games. If the schedule shifts, he shifts everything by the same amount so the body doesn’t get thrown off too much. When asked if he knew this at 25, Ronaldo laughed and said no — when you’re young you think you’re unbreakable. But with age and the brutal demands of football, he learned to get smarter. Now he prioritizes sleep and recovery above almost everything else. It’s a quiet reminder that one of the greatest athletes alive credits his longevity not to some fancy hack, but to something as basic as going to bed and waking up at roughly the same time. Makes you wonder how much better we’d all feel if we treated sleep with the same discipline as CR7. What’s one sleep habit that’s made the biggest difference for you?

@Erwinminion @CoachDanGo To be fair though, he did not say that you should not exercise, just that it gives improvements without exercise. It does not follow from this nor is it implied that exercise should not be done. I would guess he would still recommend exercise anyway.

@CoachDanGo Selling passive heat exposure as a replacement for exercise is a classic optimization fallacy. It is a recovery protocol, not a bypass for actual mechanical load

The best health tool on the planet is a sauna. Improves the cardiovascular system without doing a minute on the treadmill. It also improves recovery and mood, relieves stress & it’s associated with increased lifespan. One of the best gifts you could give yourself is a sauna.
Nutrition Detective 🔍 - Dr. Garrett Smith@NutriDetect

Everyone should sauna regularly. Especially if you don’t exercise. Sauna sessions are one of the easiest detox tools available. Plus you don’t need to put in any effort to sauna. What are you waiting for?
