$ASTS: Should I do a space covering the worst AST haters and FUD merchants? I’d discuss who they are, their motivations and their greatest hits catalogue of being completely and unequivocally wrong. Btw @TMFAssociates would take up about 80% of the discussion.

The dream $ASTS scenario (for me) would be a @blueorigin buyout, all stock, followed by a BO IPO a year later. I'd give it <5% odds - but a man can dream.

@CatSE___ApeX___ How many satellites would be needed to fully cover all cell phone users on the planet without terrestrial towers? Thanks for all your work, you’re on fire this weekend!!!

$ASTS Tech deep dive. If you’re new and wasn’t reading the filings in 2020 like the first dozen SpaceMob OGs there is something you need to know. Making beams straight down a fraction of the array is used. 1/

1/ $ASTS $T $VZ $TMUS I work for a major corporation's legal team, so I tend to read announcements like today’s AT&T+Verizon+T-Mobile satellite JV differently. This is not just a “dead zone coverage” announcement. The Big Three want a carrier-controlled framework for D2D.

Will outdoor AI use cases, particularly when we get to “world view” based AI, overwhelm 5G ? Satellite uplinks ? And make many of those use cases, unusable ? Is the bottleneck going to be bandwidth ?

I recently released a ticker analysis on $ASTS to the Foliotrail community. The stock is up +300% in the last year. The sentiment is euphoric, but the valuation is disconnected from current reality. Is this the future of connectivity or a venture capital bubble? I am sharing the data behind the analysis here. 🧵

The scaling potential for the $ASTS satellite system may be broader than any product or service ever created. Potentially every mobile phone and connected device on the planet could be optimized using the upcoming $ASTS constellation.

At a $45–50B current market cap, I’ll go on record projecting that before a SpaceX IPO, $ASTS will receive a monster merger or buyout offer from one of the tech giants or Bezos. Abel won’t sell, but I think he could be open to a blockbuster merger with Bezos. Let’s see how this plays out.

$ASTS - The race is on. With SpaceX preparing to go public, orbital space centers are anticipated to become an extremely sought-after asset. This is fueled by the recent announcement that SpaceX is acquiring xAI and intends to deploy millions of orbital data centers into space. The AI landscape is currently dominated by four major players: OpenAI (GPT), Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude), and xAI (Grok). Each company relies on its foundational models, which demand significant computational power. Given that power consumption is a critical constraint, the potential of space to provide a perpetual and limitless power source is an appealing prospect for those seeking long-term solutions. It is a natural progression for xAI to leverage SpaceX's tech, as SpaceX possesses the necessary satellite knowledge, and manufacturing capabilities. But where will everyone else turn? Establishing a satellite production line is not an overnight process; it requires years of development. AST SpaceMobile is uniquely positioned to meet this demand, aggressively expanding its manufacturing capabilities. Crucially, they possess the largest suitable satellite and the essential associated technology, including large-scale solar arrays and cooling systems. Intriguingly, ties already exist with both Google and Anthropic. Google is an investing partner of AST SpaceMobile. Anthropic, meanwhile, is substantially funded by technology giants, including Amazon (over $8 billion) and Google (approximately $3 billion), amongs others. AST SpaceMobile collaborates with Blue Origin, a company owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. While the excitement is undeniable, it remains to be seen whether the current trend lives up to the hype. If this happens - and many intelligent individuals and major corporations are making substantial investments in its success - companies that manufacture satellites will become highly sought-after. AST SpaceMobile may be one of the very few companies prepared to deliver.

$ASTS for anyone wondering why AST made this announcement today and specifically called out that they are an American company... It could serve multiple purposes, like Golden Dome, gov contracts, etc. but I also think they are additionally publicly responding to this FCC filing by SpaceX on Nov 18. SpaceX states they have "concerns" that AST is now Foreign Controlled due to EU constellation: scribd.com/document/95148… Excerpt in image below. Ultimately, SpaceX is trying everything in their power to stop AST, including saying we're under foreign control and AST is saying to go screw yourself by publicly stating they have a ton of employees and manufacturing here in the US and that we are an American company. What do you think?

@ramit Youth Suffrage- our young people are the most under-represented group in the country. We should let 16 year olds vote in Federal elections, counteract the gerontocracy!

My comments are filled with older people telling young people to "stop buying coffee" and "stop being stubborn about where you live & move to Arkansas to buy a house" I find it absurd and condescending. It's intellectually lazy to point at young people buying lattes while ignoring the very real STRUCTURAL reasons that young people are financially struggling: - Boomers bought a middle-class house on one salary. The value of the house didn't just go up because "house prices always go up" -- they systematically rigged local governments to make it *illegal* to build more housing in virtually every city in America - Healthcare has become incredibly expensive - Pensions are largely a thing of the past - America has become a gerontocracy where where this country actively lavishes rewards on an aging population while stripping young people of a financial future. Even now, there are discussions to stop property taxes and portable mortgages (both giveaways to older, wealthy homeowners that do nothing to solve a lack of housing supply). Our geriatric politicians are completely out of touch with the needs of young people, too This is not a post to demonize boomers or justify overspending. I believe in simultaneously taking personal responsibility AND acknowledging the need for systemic change. And older people vote. But I'm tired of these tired tropes of young people taking too many trips to Bali as a reason they're financially struggling

$ASTS Some information regarding the Antonov aircraft that landed in Midland yesterday. The flight originated in Hyderabad, India with a flight number of 7054. It's scheduled to depart today at 10:10am CST with a flight number of 754F. According to Grok, the "F" in the flight number designates it as a "Ferry" flight which is used when an aircraft is being repositioned and is not a revenue generating flight. Don't think this flight is taking anything from Midland accordingly.
