The kindness of strangers. I was contacted this week by St Gemma’s Hospice that someone was trying to contact me with a gift for Jacob Today I found out it’s the executer of a gentleman’s will who was a pilot. They’ve left Jacob enough money specifically for him to learn to fly😢

@JJSharpers There is no value/rehabilitaion in prison for him. He will be living with the consequences for life anyway. It was of course very sad …. And a lapse… but not worthy of prison. Terrible for the family who didn’t think he should lose his job let alone go to prison.hope he appeals

I come at this as a police officer, as a Mother who has had to dial 999 because her baby is choking and a daughter of a Mother she completely adores and would be lost without. There are no winners here. A complete tragedy. Thoughts & love with those who have lost so much 🩷

@JJSharpers We were the same for quite a while. Ships passing in the night with an exchange of child. In the end Mrs K took the opportunity to leave.

In the MPS there is a notable drop in women going for their Inspectors. Most likely because the level of service women go for it, significantly coincides with the time they’re likely to be starting/growing a family.

As always trying to find positives in the changes happening for me at work & trying to lift people up with me. Truth is, the weight of juggling motherhood & policing has never felt heavier for me than it does now. Thankfully one more day & then some annual leave with my boys.

Has 2 toilets. You have amended my booking with no discussion with us. We were due to bring an elderly relative who without this facility will no longer be able to join us - this is disability discrimination and I would like someone to contact me to discuss pls.
