@sc1640184@purplethrobber@ThistlePc Short sightedness from people with very little understanding of the consequences, taken for mugs, lost all faith in our ability to make things better.
A significant number of specialisms in @PoliceScotland rely on officers doing on call which is entirely voluntary. This is what these officers are being offered for this disruption to their time off. #justsaying
@GdivReps Can I ask for clarification? When talking about a roster being changed, does this relate to the full shift pattern whereas a RD can be cancelled, subject to the OT notice period, or a single shift changed (brought forward or pushed back) in a working day within the 91 day period?
Remember a roster cannot be changed with less than 91 days notice unless there is an exigency. If there is an exigency and you need better details contact a local rep as SMT have agreed to provide reps details of all exigencies affecting officers. pnb.scot/handbook/1-pub…
BSU have stated "invalid claim as per federation circular 33 of 2022 - entire shift length can only be claimed from 1 December 2022." All my other claims which are only for 1 or 2 hours pre date that, and surely the new guidance supercedes that? Can anyone advise? @GdivReps
Put in several overtime claims recently as per recent fed guidance regarding court attendance in annual leave and claiming your full shift etc. Most have been authorised however two have been returned where I only claimed 0900-1300 on the day and have since claimed toll 1300.
@Scot_PC127 The new vests are being rolled out to probationers currently. Taser officers get a Molle vest but these are getting replaced by what the probies are getting
"The constant disruptions to their private life and the increased intrusion into their private life doesn’t match the pay and conditions they receive. What is required is a properly funded police service and police officers paid for their worth." policeoracle.com/news/HR_person…
@TicTac_Sir@Stopper88MD@reps_q I don’t think not volunteering for OT is the answer as you can be forced to work anyway. Its difficult as it has to be something affecting the organisation without impacting service delivery.
@TicTac_Sir@Stopper88MD@reps_q The way I see the short notice volunteers is if someone is happy to do it then better that than requiring someone that would have their home life turned upside down by doing it, no good for the already low morale.
An agreement on #PolicePay for 2022 has been reached. That agreement will see all police officers receive a 5% increase in pay with effect from 1st April 2022 (in addition to other benefits)
@reps_q@GD706@cn_1985 This is in the key elements section. I took this to mean if you in on AL and that day was a 10 hr shift then take 10 hours double? Is that wrong?
@GD706@cn_1985 Not anymore, day of annual leave whether rest day or working will now get you 1 day (8 hours) at double time and a rest day back. This is for first 2 days, please see PNB as above!
Standby for court on AL or rest day. To receive compensation
(1)Report on duty at their place of work and wait there on ‘standby’.
(2)Report on duty to the court and wait there on ‘standby’.
(3)Report for duty and be on ‘standby’ at home. Follow the regs to get payment
