Former president of Romania, Traian Basescu: "Donald Trump is reaping exactly what he has sown. He showed contempt for Europeans, he demeaned us, questioned the very existence of NATO and wanted to invade and annex Greenland, a territory that belongs to the European Union. The rejection shown today by European leaders is aimed not at the United States, but straight at Donald Trump.
He comes out of this conflict humiliated, the Hormuz strait is now blocked, he failed to achieve regime change, failed to secure the uranium and proved himself incapable of defending his own allies in the Middle East. All the US allies in the Gulf that saw themselves as protected by the US were struck by Iran almost at will, whenever Iran wanted, with the US being either unwilling or unable to defend them. So Mr. Trump comes out of this with a terrible record.
He started this war having absolutely no idea what he was doing, and even now, I don’t think this man is aware of or understands what he has done. Yes, Iran cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons, but the way Trump thought he could solve that problem is one that only a child could come up with. This man still doesn’t understand what he has done and continues to be arrogant when asking us for help instead of admitting his mistake."

@Microinteracti1 Or we could just leave. The US tax payer is so sick of NATO.

This is bullshit. And it’s illegal. We'll see President Trump in court.

President Trump can sign whatever the hell he wants to, but it won’t change the Constitution.
The authority to set our election rules belongs to the states — and as Governor, I will protect your right to vote.
That includes your right to vote by mail.

@FurkanGozukara How could they possibly get to Iran? When USA has complete air superiority? Total nonsense
English

It took a almost a century for the United States to build a global system of trade, security, and cooperation, and these guys are going to throw it away because they screwed up and have to save face.

Hegseth indicates reopening the Strait of Hormuz is not a core US objective: "We've been willing to lead, President Trump has led the entire time, but it's not just us. You might want to start learning how to fight for yourself."

@JessicaTarlov Nonsense, not 6 million maybe 60k total. All bought and paid for by China and Iran

Republicans can mock the No Kings protests all the want, but the reality is it just grew from 6 million to 8 million people in a few months. 3,300 rallies in all 50 states, many in suburbs and small towns.
Meanwhile, Republicans in Congress see the writing on the wall. A record 36 are retiring early. Donald Trump is sitting around 40% approval at best, closer to the low 30s by some measures.
When a president is under 50%, their party historically loses an average of 34 seats in Congress. Democrats only need a handful of seats. The energy is real and it is growing.

@ultras_antifaa Those are Democratic run cities, just like Cuba run by socialists.

America has no easy way to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. But Iran may not be able to force Donald Trump to end the war by keeping it shut economist.com/middle-east-an…

🇲🇽🇨🇺 BREAKING: Mexico will send oil to Cuba. Trump's blockade has fallen.
60 years of embargo. 60 years of trying to starve an island.
Now Mexico breaks the siege. Oil shipments. Solidarity. Sovereignty.
The US can sanction. Can threaten. Can block.
But neighbors help. Neighbors deliver. Neighbors don't forget.
Cuba has been alone too long. Mexico just changed that.
The blockade isn't gone. But it's cracked. And cracks spread.
Mexico sends oil. The world watches. The empire fumes.
Solidarity wins. Every time.

@lovemana0505 To have such a blatantly false opinion you must be a Marxist.

Iran has kept the Straight of Hormuz toll-free for decades despite being vilified, sanctioned, and Isolated.
Egypt charges $300,000 – $700,000+ per transit through the Suez Canal. Ultra-large container ships or tankers can exceed $1 million.
Panama charges $150,000 – $450,000 per transit. Large Neopanamax ships cost up to $500,000+ to pass the Panama Canal.
Turkey charges fees for the Bosporus Strait.
Canada charges fees for the St Lawrence Seaway.
The United States charges for the St Lawrence Seaway.
But Iran is a bad country.

@WallStreetApes Welcome to multi year amortized loans. What do they teach in High School now?

American logs into her federal student aid account so we can see her actual loans and payments
- She took out a $49,548.74 loan
- She’s made 120 payments, paying $25,558.36
- Her current balance is $50,121.33
So after paying $25,558.36, she now owes more than she took out

@MikeHudema Why? Solar Panels are net negative power producers. (It takes more power to produce them than they produce in their lifetimes)
It’s just the science
English

POW! All new houses built in Tokyo after April 2025 must include solar power panels. Let's speed that up. Who's next?
RT if you think more houses should get a solar powered upgrade.

@DailyCaller True but one democratic operative can vote 50K times through mail in ballots….so we aren’t worried about the average voters just the party fanatics …..

Democrat Sen. Patty Murray doesn’t think voter fraud is a problem and says she’s voting against the SAVE Act.

Senator Patty Murray@PattyMurray
The average person is more likely to be struck by lightning than they are to commit voter fraud. Seriously. That's a real stat. I'm voting NO on the SAVE America Act.
