I committed suicide in 2015. I drank a 5th of whiskey, a bottle of wine while downing 30 serequel pills and 20 clonopin pills. While I was waiting to pass out and never wake up, a voice told me "Michael. call 911" I was almost incoherent in my thoughts. The voice was insistent now "Michael, call 911". I never talked to myself in the 3rd person. It was weird. I looked at my hand. The phone was there. I was never a phone person. I don't know where it came from. I dialed 911. I explained to the person I had done the pills and drink. She asked if I could make it to the door. I said I could. I walked to the door and went outside. There was a police car driving up at that same moment. It was as if it was meant to happen. He asked for my ID. I gave it to him. Then I was gone. I remember a little about being transferred to an ambulance. I woke in a hospital bed 2 days later. I was happy. I could not understand it. I was happy. I felt good. I was telling jokes and having a good talk with the hospital staff as they were getting me ready to be transferred to a mental hospital. I finally understood how the Lord saved me. I have never been the same, since. I can't explain it. I was saved and saved. I am not worthy but I was spared hell. I got healthy. I went from 250lbs to 170. I read my bible. My non military PTSD was a thing I could deal with without pharma. I now take no meds. So, here I am, alone, no need for social appeasement. Only to gather the lay of the land and make dumb posts, sometimes. May you all be blessed as I have been. Thank you, Lord.

I’ve always liked Shawn Ryan. I respect the spotlight he’s put on child exploitation globally. Yes—the FBI has overreached. Yes—they fumbled the Epstein communications at times. Both can be true. But here’s what’s happening now: “Because I don’t trust the FBI on Epstein … I’ll automatically trust anyone attacking the FBI.” I think that’s a mistake. You can question the FBI AND still call out Joe Kent for going on Tucker and Megyn’s platforms and planting vague, unverified claims about TPUSA, Erika, Charlie, Trump, Iran, and Israel. Two things can be true at once. Don’t trade one blind spot for another.

AITAH? Saturday night my oldest granddaughter, Di (12), asked to borrow my AirPods. I said yes but she had to clean them after she used them. Late last night, I was looking for them and couldn’t find them. I texted her and asked where she put them. Zero response. This morning, she wrote me to ask me to bring 1 of her leotards to her at school ( 35 minutes away), because she forgot them all here. Again, I asked about the AirPods. Again, no response. Instead, she asked if would PLEASE bring her leotard because she doesn’t have any at her Dad’s house and she has practice after school. At this point, I’m annoyed. I ask about the AirPods for the 3rd time, and I don’t mention the leotard. She finally says this: “They must have ended up in my backpack.” I tell her nothing “ends up” in her backpack without her purposefully putting it in there. I further explain that she has stolen from me, and then has the nerve to ask me for a favor. This is a child who I get up extra early for to do her hair whenever she asks. Who I spoil beyond reasonableness. She then says I can have MY AirPods back when I drop off her leotards. The f’ing nerve of this kid. She doesn’t put her leotards in her backpack, but she does put my property in there, without my consent. I inform her she is a thief and that me doing any favors for her AT ALL is over until she returns my property. And I am not playing. She will get nothing from me. No more doing her hair, getting her new clothes, driving to pick her up or drop her off at her bestie’s house, no more special request dinners or breakfasts. I am done. I think a hard lesson MUST be learned. Even if she has her regional gymnastics competition this coming weekend, I am not changing my mind. Am I the asshole here?

@ScoutLaroo was in a DM room years ago. They added him because someone said so and then that person suggested he share his pics. it was several pics of him in fishnets. And then he got embarrassed and left the room. People were surprised and it became a joke. You missed nothing.

I remember when that guy showed us his fishnets and no one was ready for that.
