@DiceAndNames This is what FFG was risking with how they managed Carbonite boosters in SWU. I think the correction with this latest set is working thus far, but they were losing LGS' right and left. Gotta have those to have a community (and, thus, a game). A hard lesson to learn.

It was just announced that the Altered TCG has been cancelled. This is a real shame because the gameplay is really fresh and unique. But even when I saw the game behind closed doors at Gen Con in 2023, I said that day that this business model had an uphill climb. Print on demand, online trading and QR codes are systems not conducive to most LGSs. And without the support of the LGS, it never really had a chance. I would love to see the game refreshed with the standard TCG model or as an LCG. The gameplay has a lot to offer.

I had surgery a week ago. Every time I go under the general anesthesia it shuts down my poop maker! I don’t poop for like a week straight! Then all of a sudden BAM! Things start working again. I’ve pooped like 9 times in the last 24 hours and I feel AMAZING!!! I’m so content rn that I feel that you ALL must know! Even time I poop I’m like “YES! Victory!” May you all have a good poop today! Hey everyone tI looks like things where a little bit more serious then they thought. The good news is that I'm not dying and everything is being handled What had happened was the bone flap from my craniotomy died off. However, not only did it die off. It had completely dissolved and rotted away. My surgeon said that he had never seen anything like it. This is not an exaggeration. It literally turned to mush. The surgery lasted three hours instead of 45 minutes because he had to spend a lot of time locating all of the really tiny screws that were floating around inside my head. I am please to report that he got all of them, but he really had to take his time and look for them. A lot of them where Embedded the muscle and one actually worked its way underneath my skull in between the Durrell. Also, there is a sinus cavity that I forget which one it’s called that is connected to your ear. That sinus cavity is completely filled with fluid and they need to drain it. It is possible that that’s where this all originated from but it’s impossible to tell for sure. So, as of right now, Friday and Saturday streams are canceled. I’m hoping I’ll be home for Sunday’s stream but I’ll let everybody know what’s going on as the day gets closer. I am in the ICU again. Thanks for all of the get well wishes! Circling back to the original topic... =D As Zath points out, I basically wrote them a bit of a nasty letter on my 7th app that seemingly cut through the BS excuses they continually gave me as to why I hadn't made partner yet (and my social following was a fraction of yours). The overly nebulous and squishy partner system works wholly to their benefit, and they like milking it for all it's worth. The goalposts are always in motion, and they prefer it that way.

10 denials… I was denied Twitch Partner 10 times. My last denial I was at over 1M following across socials, 124 CCV, and over 600 monthly sub average(ranging anywhere from 600-1500) Im not complaining about the amount of times I was denied, it made me grittier, I wanted it more with every road block, I worked harder…it was a real passion project! Getting partnered on streaming platforms used to feel like it was a badge you WORKED HARD for. Not everyone got it, it was normal to get denied often….i was ELATED when I received my acceptance email finally….now? We’re now watching blatant embedded/view-botting streamers get partnered with clear suspicious and rapid stream viewer growth, no consecutive month metrics, no twitch following, no supporting social media following/views/engagement, no chat, and no subs…. It feels like a participation trophy. This isn’t a hot take btw… PSA-to those of you botting metrics and using that for financial gain…it’s considered fraud. It violates FTC guidelines on deceptive practices….

@allengilmer As an undergrad at @AggiesByTheSea, I took a course called "Mechanics of Materials". Our professor confidently stated if we wanted to be employed for life we should all become metallurgists. (He was annoyingly correct.) Glad to see instruction of this expertise returning.
