🚨 LMFAO! THOUSANDS of patriots in Britain at Tommy Robinson's rally BOOED every failed world leader that came up on the screen, except for one MACRON: "Boo!" VON DER LAYEN: "Boo!" MERZ: "Boo!" CARNEY: "Boo!" ALBANESE: "Boo!" STARMER: "BOOOO!!!" TRUMP: "YEAH!!" 🔥🔥🇺🇸🇬🇧

@rhysajlucero @sylevus @Danish_SMF The bible addresses nothing. It clearly condones slavery, you even admit it foes. And, why? Well, it was a tough time, blah, blah. And genocide = capital punishment for groups? Including the babies, I guess. You're a degenerate apologist.

I don't know if God has reduced suffering from some hypothetical maximum. And I don't need to. I look at a child dying of bone cancer and say: if a good, all-powerful God exists, this should not be happening. An omnipotent being could achieve any good without this horror. 2
Can we please just tell the truth@FloodingLong

@Cern_IXXI @Danish_SMF How do you know we don't live in the world where God has already eliminated some suffering? How do you know what the 'minimum' amount of suffering is? Can you speak on what you think it's the minimum for?

@IMACedarWaxwing This meme is funny on a post where the whole point is to defend design. Btw - your response is the exact circular question-begging fallacy highlighted in the post 👍

Atheists have utterly failed to refute the design argument. Never even come close. You can't say, "We know something is designed because we know humans design things." That doesn't explain the attributes of the system that separates design from non-design. It's begging the question & circular. By that logic, we could never recognize designed things on alien planets, or even designed things dug up in the dirt of our own planet, unless we had already observed what designed those things. We recognize designed things by the attributes of the system: specified complexity, irreducible complexity, interdependent coordination, etc. We know systems with these attributes are designed because only intelligence is capable of planning & engineering parts into a purposeful, functional system with these attributes - based on our universal and uniform experience. Nature has never once been observed to be capable of this miraculous feat of engineering. You can't retort with, "BuT rEpRoDuCtIoN!" because reproduction requires the very attributes needing to be explained. This is question-begging again. Reproductive systems require a whole host of biological machinery engineered into a vast complex interdependent system - no evidence suggests any complex biological system can arise without intelligent guidance. Observation shows us that Nature destroys biological material - it doesn't build entire networks of complex interconnected systems. If you say, "It started out simple and grew more complex!" then you're holding a belief contrary to all the evidence. You can believe that if you want, but don't call it science. Reproducing biological molecules inherently require vast complexity. The systems in Life show ALL the attributes of designed things. Because Life was Divinely Designed.

@IMudlet @Danish_SMF Then morality is not inherently hierarchical, and there is no way to order it. Child sacrifice is fine if enough people believe it is.

@sylevus @Danish_SMF That is why we use sources and arguments that stand the test of time. The fact that the arguments presented in the Bible are thousands of years old AND still compelling is the only real way they could be substantiated as the word of god.

@4freedom55 @McClureShawn What are you talking about? Faith is the easiest cop out on the planet. I don't have evidence for sonething, so what, I believe it anyway, no need to spend brainpower looking for evidence, coz......drumroll.....Faith!

@SeanDuffy47 @McClureShawn I just think you’ve painted yourself into a box … but you’re holding to your thesis that the only evidence is what can physically be measured… so I get it. The faith thing is too hard, so why bother …

Why do I post about God? Because I was taught from childhood that doubt was sin, curiosity was rebellion, and skepticism deserved eternal torture. People who escape indoctrination have every right—and perhaps a responsibility—to speak openly about the brainwashing they escaped.🧵

@4freedom55 @McClureShawn Good grief! You threw yours toys out of the pram quick. You know faith isn't a good methodology for belief, you know it, yet you cling on to it, and then get all squiffy when someone makes you look at it for what it is.

@SeanDuffy47 @McClureShawn I think all faiths have elements of truth. With respect, I think you’re making some assumptions about what I believe. And I’m not thinking you’re that interested in what I think, so have a good day.

A neuroscientist with a brain tumor. A wife with a strange dream. A demonic encounter. And a healing he can't explain away. Dr. Josh Brown is a professor of psychological and brain sciences at Indiana University and the author of Proving a Miracle. As one of the world's leading researchers studying the empirical effects of prayer, he applies rigorous scientific methods to questions most scientists won't touch and most Christians have been afraid to investigate. In this conversation, Josh is here to share his remarkable personal story and explore what the science actually says about miracles, prayer, and healing. @4freedom55 @McClureShawn Now you're being disingenuous. Your faith extends to the whole, not just the parts. You dont believe in the divine rule of Krishna, do you? And now scientists have 'faith' too? You know having faith is bs so, instead of saying that, you want to imply everyone else has it too.

@SeanDuffy47 @McClureShawn No. I think that all faiths have elements of truth. I think good scientists practice faith as they seek evidence for their theories. Would your head explode if you took a philosophy class? because I’m thinking you don’t like abstract areas of inquiry.

@4freedom55 @McClureShawn That's a strange take. I'm limiting myself by only accepting evidence of things we can demonstrate to be real! Correct, being weird doesn't explain it, but neither does assuming a 'spiritual world'. As I've said, and you've demonstrated, believe thing A without evidence, and....

@SeanDuffy47 @McClureShawn If you only accept physically measurable evidence, you’re going to live in a pretty small bubble. Simply shrugging and calling phenomena “weird” doesn’t explain these elements of human consciousness that are real.

I’m sat in my first Essex County Council meeting on Monday morning, listening to a councillor induction presentation. ‘Any questions?’ asks an officer. A hand goes up. ‘Yes’ says a recently elected Labour member. ‘Do I get a pension as a councillor?’. His first question was about how much money he gets. Not procedure, or meeting dates or where the loos are… but how much cash he can grab. Same old Labour.

@4freedom55 @McClureShawn None of which are evidence driven. Even if the 'spirit world' examples you cite are real (and that's yet to be demonstrated), they don't really indicate anything other than, at best, "that's a bit weird". You couldn't have demonstrated my point more clearly.

@SeanDuffy47 @McClureShawn That’s just one angle … you could say the same without referencing Christianity (just good, true principles that help people). For me, intuition, dreams, near-death experiences that seem to indicate a spirit world outside our current physical realm, etc.

@4freedom55 @McClureShawn But faith is a particularly poor method of establishing truth. And you know this. You're clearly of the xtian faith, and so likely believe that those of other faiths are kidding themselves. Yet, it's all 'faith'. Why isn't that important to you?

@SeanDuffy47 @McClureShawn My evidence lies outside the restrictive parameters you’re insisting on … if one tries to pattern one’s life on the teachings of Christ, (not easy), a sense of satisfaction, peace and even safety will ensue and increase. that’s the basis of faith. Can’t prove that w a test tube
