@kpb75 @karla_vowles That is good news, all the ex BG engineers I know have all got new employers or have gone solo and do not regret leaving. Many have their own local customer base and customers see them as the 1st point of contact for help 👍

This time last year I was delivering vital medical equipment with my mates for housebound and vulnerable NHS patients between emergency breakdowns for British Gas customers. Today my van was picked up ahead of my dismissal on Wednesday #StopTheBritishGasFire #EndFireAndRehire

@bathewmateman I agree with your comments re fire and hire, but if you don’t know the consequences of industrial action, you need to be careful about promoting a no vote. I am concerned about ex colleagues.

@Secretgasman1 You're asking the wrong person what the consequences will be. You want to be directing that to the business.

If you haven’t voted yet and you’re worried voting NO means fire and rehire, if you vote YES you’re allowing the SLT to implement massive changes in your contract with 28 days notice without consultation. What then stops them reducing these already terrible t&c’s again by Feb?

@bathewmateman Be very careful when you say ‘bringing the business to a grinding halt’ what do you think will be the consequences?
