Re President Trump’s attempt to revert High Speed Rail $$, I have put Legislation in motion to spend the same $$ finishing to Merced - where we are ready to go!! All environmental work finished in 2012!! We will show the President we can GET IT DONE to meet his 2022 deadline!!

By the grace of God, the individual in the wheelchair survived. The news story said he is a paraplegic who was hospitalized but as of today was talking and able to be quoted for the news story. My heart goes out to all the victims and families and the New Orleans community.

I'm not sure why this motorized scooter next to the New Orleans terrorist's truck caught my attention. Was this terrorist's last victim a handicapped person? The whole thing is horrifying but this is the one that really got in my brain, for some reason.

(1/2) Senator Brian Jones today, upon his return to Sacramento this week for the end of Session, received news that he has tested positive for COVID-19. He will be taking additional tests to recheck the results and to rule out possibility of a false-positive result.
