Scarface is the most blatant anti capitalist fable of any mainstream studio film of all time - we will die on this hill - the hints all over it. Misunderstood by 90% of the ppl proudly displaying posters of it on their wall. From rappers to frat bros, to Miami Gusanos - we will debate it to the death with anti communist fans of the it & movie nerds that deny anytime. There may never be a more pro communist / anti capitalist epic to ever be produced by a major studio. Even the director & MCA didn’t realize it - but the hints are literally laced by Oliver Stone all over the script … he did the best he could to get it on the screen. But it was buried in adoration for all the wrong reasons.

To @hasanthehun, When Democrats win, it doesn't push the country left. It pushes "leftists" Right, as they begin to rationalize and make excuses for the regime under the pretext of "stopping the Republicans." The Republicans will never be comprehensively defeated by the Democrats or vice versa. In a duopoly SYSTEM, they need each other, and it's designed deliberately to crush the Left. When Democrats win elections, Republicans win the nation by becoming the voice of opposition (and vice versa). Whoever is the voice of opposition, wins the future. What does that tell you? That the majority are not simply "progressive liberals" or "reactionary bigots," but are united by common opposition toward the regime. Building a genuine, long-term opposition to the regime is what will secure victory for the Left, not abandoning all principles to "ride the Democrats to the top" (and be presented with the choice to either forfeit Left politics or be kicked out). The Democrats secured control of the House, Senate and presidency in 2021. That absolutely didn't prevent Republicans from winning again. In fact, it arguably guaranteed it. It's not wise to sacrifice the future for the present.
