@Razarumi True ! The prime piece of land must have an iconic architectural structure which should stand out in this beautiful landscape - instead of two ugly match boxes built by greedy and corrupt developers- remember we did demolish such illegal constructions in Karachi -

@TK_HelpDesk Emirates and European Airlines are much better in their customer care - Turkish is hopeless !

@Razarumi @omar_quraishi Pakistan’s policy is embedded in restoring World peace - which has already paid its dividends by avoiding another World War - for sure !
English

Pakistan’s position is neither ambiguous nor opportunistic. It is rooted in a clear, rational, and pressing national interest: peace

This is Mohamed Aziz–the most photographed bookseller in the world.
Aziz is in his late 70s and is the oldest bookseller in Morocco.
He lost both of his parents at the tender age of 6. When he was 15 years old, he couldn't afford the cost of tuition and had to drop out of school.
But Aziz's desire for knowledge stayed strong.
In 1963, he started buying and selling books. He started with just 9 books and a rug under a tree in the medina of Rabat.
Over the years, he acquired more books and eventually, in 1967 he opened his now famous bookshop.
He's been selling books from that bookstore for over 40 years.
Today, he spends between 6-8 hours a day reading. “My life revolves around reading,” he says. When asked what he needs to be happy, he says simply: "a couple of pillows and books."
Over the past few decades, Aziz has taught himself several languages and read thousands of books:
"I have read over 4,000 books in Arabic, French, English, or Spanish, so it means I have lived more than 4,000 lives. Everyone should have that chance. A book is a gift you can open again and again.”
And when asked why he leaves his books outside, unchained and unattended, he simply answered: “Those who can’t read won’t steal books. And those who can, aren’t thieves.”

@yazdanifauzia @PPP_Org @PmlnMedia @PTI Wrongly construed ! It has been dealt with alacrity and skill - no doubt - but do we have any one who could have handled it the same way- that’s what I meant ! We have a dearth !
English

@Shallwani @PPP_Org @PmlnMedia @PTI Wrong question bro, such questions are asked when it’s not going well - fortunately all is well & track so those handling it are best

When I published this piece three days ago, I hoped it might reach a few thousand people. A million of you read it. Ministers, ambassadors, journalists, students, traders in Karachi, doctors in Chicago, teachers in Lahore, accountants in London. Thank you for reading it, sharing it, arguing about it, and most of all for seeing yourselves in it. Pakistan deserved a proper introduction to the world. You made sure it got one.
