We’re living in 2026 but still those who want to drive a car during overseas travel need to get an International driver’s permit from local RTO. And this permit is valid only for 1 year. Imagine the kind of inconvenience being caused and the corruption we’re encouraging. @MEAIndia we have signed treaties with almost every country in the world but we couldn’t agree on a simpler solution? We just need to add a QR code on the Drivers licence that can be scanned to translate it to International format. @DrSJaishankar

@seriousfunnyguy @narendramodi @nitin_gadkari Ho ho ho. You are not even close. So the international driving permit which RTO issues you, no japanese person or car renting company will accept that piece of paper, as they expect it in different format. Both are correct formats, but good luck explaining that to traffic police.

@theswapnilsri In school, make kids clean the room every morning or assign someone. That way they are ingrained that don't make the place dirty. And of course ultra high fine on anyone doing it, even by mistake. Hard to do it in school, harder than fines

@theswapnilsri You can act in a way like, hey I think drop it by mistake. You can give that to air hosts when they come for garbage collection. But you are right. I saw today, a person in a well (non-chapri) fortuner throw out garbage. You know what would change this. Like they do in japan.

Something small happened on my flight yesterday. IndiGo flight. Sitting next to a guy, well put together, well dressed. The kind of person you’d point to and say “educated, aware.” He finishes his snack. Looks at the trash in his hand. And places it on the floor under the seat in front. Not accidentally. Deliberately. The cabin crew came through for trash collection. Did their job perfectly. Collected from everyone’s hands, every tray table. The stuff on the floor, easy to miss from that angle, stayed. We landed. His cups and food box were still sitting there on the aircraft floor. And I just sat with this feeling I couldn’t quite name. It wasn’t anger. It was something closer to disappointment. Or maybe exhaustion. Because we’ve been having this conversation about civic sense in India for decades now. And nothing moves. Here’s what I’ve come to believe. It’s not an awareness problem. It’s not an education problem. It’s not even an income problem. It’s a “whose problem is it” problem. Most people in India have unconsciously decided that shared spaces, flights, roads, parks, footpaths, are not their responsibility. Someone is paid to clean it. Someone will handle it. Me? I’m just passing through. And that mindset is exactly where the problem begins. Because civic sense isn’t just about what you do. It’s about what you normalize. Every time someone litters and nobody reacts, the bar drops a little lower. Every time someone cleans up after themselves in a space nobody’s watching, the bar rises. We are all, quietly, setting the standard for each other. Choose the standard you want to live in.

@ShubhAgrawal26 @IndiGo6E Umm, relax. You can continue without selecting a seat. A seat will be assigned to you free of cost few hours before the flight. You can use the older boarding pass, without seat number, to get to your terminal gate. You will be able to download new boarding pass with seat assignd

It's quite frustrating how @IndiGo6E employs this dark UI pattern . When you try to check in for a flight, they indicate that all free seats are sold out and only allow you to check in early if you pay for a seat. In the past, you could be assigned a random seat, but that option is no longer available. Now, you either have to pay for a seat, or if you choose to proceed without paying, it simply prompts you with "Hey, select a seat now," without offering a free seat option. It's disappointing to see this kind of behavior from a company, and I honestly don't understand how it's legal. @DGCAIndia is this legal?

1) Buying gold/silver looks risky (retracing from record rallies). 2) Buying US Stocks looks risky (firms spending too much). 3) Buying Indian stocks looks risky (very less earnings growth/AI displacing jobs). 4) Buying Real Estate looks risky (too much oversupply hitting the markets). 5) Buying Cryptos looks risky (well, meme coin whatnot etc issues). 6) Just holding cash looks risky (US debasing currency; other weaker currency gets debased faster). Also there is X factor on the market (Trump), who is more volatile than Helium. So basically everything is risky. Just sleep. 😂

Today in newspaper read that Railway is increasing fare. Good. But to ensure this is collected, Railway should also have barriers like in Metro stations to only allow entry for valid ticket holders. Can start with major stations. This will increase the revenue and decrease ...

Created my elevator simulator using Gemini 3 Flash Actually one of the best results among all models (as feature complete as Opus, Gemini 3 Pro and GPT 5.1) and was noticeably faster I did this via Copilot, so it cost only 0.33x of a premium session championswimmer.in/elevator-bench…

Microsoft admits File Explorer is slow in Windows 11, and it’s going to preload it in the background to help improve launch performance. “This shouldn’t be visible to you, outside of File Explorer hopefully launching faster when you need to use it,” Microsoft confirmed. If you don’t want Windows 11 to preload File Explorer, you can uncheck the option called “Enable window preloading for faster launch times” in File Explorer’s Folder Options under View. File Explorer is still snappy on Windows 10, but the modernized Windows 11 version also brought slower performance. This change is rolling out to Windows Insiders.
