There are two kinds of people…
One who truly has a sensitive heart,
and another who only says they do. Which one are you?

@sumit22gupta “Tap CJI” 😂 this isn’t customer care. Recusal was already raised the way the law requires. And escalation doesn’t cure apprehension of bias. It will be dealt with as per law, not WhatsApp wisdom. Half knowledge & confidence is a dangerous combo. Maybe read first, then tweet.

At least read the law before tweeting. This take reeks of bias. No one is “choosing a judge” here. The law is very clear, even a reasonable apprehension of bias is enough. You don’t need to prove anything beyond that because justice has to be seen to be done. There are specific, detailed concerns on record, this isn’t some vague allegation. And stepping back while accepting consequences is a recognised legal position. Reducing it to “if I don’t like the judge, I won’t participate” is just a convenient distortion. Not law, just narrative.
Riccha Dwivedi@RicchaDwivedi

What Arvind Kejriwal is effectively arguing is startling: If the judge is not acceptable to me, I will not participate. A litigant cannot reserve for himself the right to choose the Bench, question integrity without proof, and then walk away when the court rejects those claims. This reduces the justice system to a spectacle, where allegations are made freely, institutions are pressured publicly, and accountability is treated as optional. The judiciary must draw a firm line. Not for one politician but to make it clear that courts cannot be browbeaten, selectively respected, or treated like forums of convenience.

We’re living in 2026 but still those who want to drive a car during overseas travel need to get an International driver’s permit from local RTO. And this permit is valid only for 1 year. Imagine the kind of inconvenience being caused and the corruption we’re encouraging. @MEAIndia we have signed treaties with almost every country in the world but we couldn’t agree on a simpler solution? We just need to add a QR code on the Drivers licence that can be scanned to translate it to International format. @DrSJaishankar

Have you actually read the Constitution and the law? From what I understand, Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) does provide for recusal where required. Even recently, in a matter before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, Justice K.V. Vishwanathan chose to recuse himself after realising there could be a possible perception of bias, even though the judgment had already been reserved. Also, courts have repeatedly allowed petitioners-in-person to argue their own cases. That’s a well-recognised practice and clearly supported by law.
Jai Anant Dehadrai@jai_a_dehadrai

This is completely unacceptable - Kejriwal wants to make a mockery of our Courts and our Judges - the Hon’ble Judge in question is one of the finest and is being persistently harassed. I am sure the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the DHC will put an end to this charade. Kejriwal must not be allowed to even enter the sacred premises of the Hon’ble High Court and should reserve his theatrics solely for politics : where clearly he has lost all remaining credibility.
