I told my unemployed friend that the plan was to make $10M, use it to buy a home, and park the rest in dividend stocks. At 3% yield, you can safely earn a pretty decent income to not have to work again
He asked me what I would do with my time once that happens
Told him I would probably spend my days relaxing at home, reading a book I love, and spending free time with friends and family whenever I can
He responded that he already does this and never had to earn $10M to be able to do it
Completely changed my perspective on life

“It’s time to create our new ad!”
“I’ve got it. To open: sowing doubt about whether people should trust us. Then lead into, ‘Who can stop us if we’re out of control?’”
“Yes, perfect. And the visuals?”
“I’m thinking… house burning down, dystopian hellscape, graveyard.”
“YES!”

Normies don't understand what AGI will actually be.
They think their little digital marketing jobs where they crop Canva pictures and post on LinkedIn will actually be income for them five years from now.
These people are going to get wiped out.
It'll be a bloodbath.
AGI is a drop in remote worker capable of doing anything on your computer faster, smarter and cheaper than humans, by many orders of magnitude.
That means you turn the AGI on, it extracts all patterns and insights from all data you give it, as well as external sources, autonomously interviews everyone in your company, and learns - puts together the optimal strategy and then also implements it - at any given time, 24/7.
None of us stand a chance.
Someone asked me about a year ago 'so what's the next play? How do we play this?'
You don't play this bro.
You're not outsmarting a superintelligence.
Just do whatever you want, none of it will matter post AGI.

second-time founders are my fav gender:
1) got burned once, now flinches at the word "deck"
2) flinch turns into "no deck till you ask three times," which is just trauma with a policy attached
3) hires a lawyer before a cofounder, because contracts don't leave you at 2am with equity questions
4) lawyer drafts everything so tight there's nothing left to raise a big round for
5) says "we don't need a big round" like it's discipline, it's actually just math
6) discipline turns into replying to every customer email personally, at 1am, because last time one ignored ticket became a Twitter thread
7) customer obsession turns into sleeping 8 hours anyway, because he's already seen what no sleep does to a cap table
8) ends up the only guy in the room unimpressed by the term sheet, because he's mentally still comparing it to the one that ruined him
by step 8 he's not a founder, he's a man doing exposure therapy with a company attached

The older you get the more you realize:
-The Office was amazing
-complaining is unattractive
-nothing feels better than feeling healthy
-watching good movies is not a waste of time
-if you’re having a bad day go to the gym
-don’t hookup with a woman you wouldn’t be pumped to show off to your friends (because she’s so hot and emotionally mature it makes them want a girlfriend)
-ask for the promotion
-call your friends for no reason
-anxiety isn’t real
-you’re spinning on a sphere in an infinite universe and the fact you’re alive is a 1 in 500 trillion miracle - you’re so lucky it’s absurd and you have nothing to lose :)

The older you get, the more you realize: – Alchohol isn’t worth it – Gym is therapy – Sleep is luxury – Health is wealth – Junk food is crap

i knew Codex was growing fast, but this is unbelievable:
1m → 8m users in just over five months
even crazier, it went from 6m → 8m in only three days

Tibo@thsottiaux
Tomorrow might be 8M active user celebration day. Just saying

Every few years, a new wave reshapes industries.
- 2020: Digital Transformation
Companies accelerated cloud adoption, remote work was introduced on scale, e-commerce, and automation. What was once a multi-year roadmap became a necessity almost overnight during Covid.
- 2022: Web3 & the Metaverse
Blockchain, NFTs, crypto, and virtual worlds dominated tech industry. While not every promise materialized, the period pushed organizations to rethink ownership, digital assets, and online communities.
- 2024: Generative AI
AI moved from research labs into everyday business. Teams began using AI for content creation, coding, customer support, analytics, and productivity. The focus shifted from experimentation to practical business value.
- 2026: AI-Native Organizations
We’re entering a phase where AI is no longer just a tool. Companies are redesigning workflows, products, and decision-making around AI from the ground up. The winners won’t be those who simply use AI, but those who build organizations that can collaborate with it effectively.
every wave starts as a trend, becomes a capability, and eventually turns into a competitive advantage.
Looking back, every wave seems obvious.
Some organisations watch it happen. Others build with it while it’s still taking shape.

Major life hack: Don't complain, ever. Nobody likes a complainer. They drain the energy of everyone around them. It's exhausting spending time around someone who constantly complains about things outside their control. If it's within your control, go do something about it. If it's not, you're just wasting energy thinking about it. Complaining gives too much power to the thing. Take back that power.
