Yes, I've seen this ad. It's full of bad information. The company didn't deliver good pants; they simply moved to stretch materials. This is common with a lot of tailoring nowadays. Will run through some of the points in this ad. 🧵

Consider the possibility that Trump is using these tariffs and American might to protect us from an onslaught of deadly drugs that our Northern and Southern neighbors have done little to curtail and likely profit from. Consider too the reality that politicians respond to incentives and Trump gave both countries an incentive to enforce drug laws. I have buddies of mine in DC now that used to work in hedge funds or broker dealers on Wall Street and know how ridiculous these tariffs are and they won’t say anything. Think about that.
