What I found striking in the legislation: it directs the minister to hire contractors to rip up our streets, indemnify themselves & the contractors, not compensate TO for the original cost of installation or replacement, demand all TO's traffic/road info, & take over our streets.

Ontario is going to pay $6,666 per unit for something that costs $500 online. Seems odd, unless @fordnation is trying to suck up to @elonmusk, which, I don't know, I guess maybe that's just the world we are in now.
