@GDebatta I'm a social worker. I do think she is possibly having a mental health crisis. I don't think she can handle it if she loses. Nobody should ever vote for her again.

Between the joy of a wedding and the bitterness of displacement, a phone call from the occupation forces turns a Palestinian family’s life in Gaza upside down, ordering them to evacuate their home immediately on their daughter’s wedding day.

Israeli protesters are demanding immediate release of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, the director of Gaza’s Kamal Adwan Hospital. Abducted by Israel 1.5 years ago, he has been held without trial ever since. His lawyer says he has been tortured daily, his health is deteriorating, and there are growing fears he could be deliberately killed.

@_ZachFoster In a way it is like a war zone, because of all of the checkpoints and other apartheid actions they take against Palestinians. However, I've been there and there are usually different rules for non-Palestinians. I think they messed up and showed what they do to Palestinians here.

The Zionist knee-jerk response to Ro Khanna’s detainment reveals a deeper truth about pro Israel / pro-genocide people. They defaulted to saying Ro was in a military zone or even a war zone out of unconscious habit. They did that because Ro went to Palestine. Where Palestinians live. They see Palestinians not as people but as inherent threats. Born not as human beings but as security & demographic problems. Thats how you end up perpetrating a live streamed genocide for 1,012 days and counting.
Ro Khanna@RoKhanna

The Jerusalem Post has debunked 3 IDF propaganda points being used against us. 1. They confirm that we were not in a restricted zone 2. The IDF soldiers did not disperse the extremist settlers 3. The IDF and settlers acted illegally jpost.com/israel-news/ar…

@NWidgets55215 @the_andrey_x I think they don't have anything else to do. Imagine getting up each day and thinking how you are going to harass, kill or injure Palestinians, and destroy their homes and their olive trees. It is very evil.

@the_andrey_x Please be safe. Thank you for posting what the settlers (occupiers) are doing. Your trip with Congressman Khanna and the pictures and videos have made a huge difference.

@FUBARnsv1 @weimanadav It's not a war - it's Zionist occupation. Why can't people drive through the West Bank? I was there in 2015 and I could go anywhere - it was only the Palestinians helping us who couldn't do that because of checkpoints and other barriers.

The IDF is lying about the detention of Rep. Khanna. I was on the ground with him that day, and my body camera captured us being detained by both settlers and Israeli soldiers. The IDF did not disperse the violent settlers, as they claim. They explicitly sided with them.

@infinite_jaz I think it’s time we all stop using the word “settler”. These are thieving squatters and nothing more. Merely armed and dangerous homeless thieves terrorizing locals.

🧵Today, on the one-year anniversary of settlers beating 20-year-old Palestinian American Sayfollah Musallet to death in his own olive fields, I accompanied his father, Kamel, to visit his grave and then to try to reach the spot where he was killed. We were attacked by settlers…

@camkasky I agree. I was there in 2015 and the Palestinians were so generous and kind. You can drive wherever you want in the West Bank, it's just when the settlers (occupiers) stop you that it becomes a big issue. Thank you for being there and reporting!

We did show up unannounced, and the Palestinians were painfully hospitable. Try telling a Palestinian who cooked dinner for you that you’re full and couldn’t eat another plate. Good luck.

@StanleyCohenLaw I am glad he went there and is trying to tell the story of what has been happening. I was there in 2015, and I was shocked at what I saw. I think he was, too. He had a lot of good journalists with him, not just CNN. I'm glad it is being reported so much.

Rep. Khanna ... "How dare they mistreate those with an American passport." Duh ... how many Palestinian Americans have been attacked, kidnapped, murdered in occupied Palestine? And you are doing what about it?

@chchchcherrybmb @AdeleShoko Excuse me, there are thousands of settlers in the West Bank. They run around with weapons at all hours, killing and injuring Palestinians, starting homes on fire, and destroying olive trees. The settlers are out of control and the IDF supports them - just like what happened here.

So let me get this straight you guys intentionally go into an area that you know is fucking dangerous. Put yourself in this situation for what? to make yourself look like a victim? This is a small group of settlers who are causing a lot of trouble for Israel, but you guys say fucking nothing about terrorist groups, all throughout the West Bank and in Gaza and the murder of Jews within Israel by these people. You guys never say anything. Or how about the time where there were Israeli settlers who got lost and a mother and her three daughters were fucking murdered? Do you guys report on that? They were Jews by the way

MCCONNELL releases a photo - and statement. “To my fellow Kentuckians –    “When you elected me to a seventh term and made me our Commonwealth’s longest serving Senator, you did so trusting that I’d keep showing up to fight for you every day. And over the past several weeks, Elaine and I have appreciated both your well wishes and your honest questions about what was keeping me away from the Senate.   “You all know how folks of my generation often hesitate to share the vulnerability that comes with growing older. Even in the public eye, I feel that same instinct – I can’t help it.   “But at the same time, I’ve had more than my share of experience with physical vulnerabilities. Surviving childhood polio meant spending my entire life with mobility challenges. They haven’t exactly gotten easier to manage with age. And last month, I took a fall which landed me in the hospital.   “My doctors have confirmed that I didn’t break any bones or suffer a concussion. I didn’t have a heart attack or a stroke. I don’t have any tumors or hemorrhages. But I was briefly unconscious and was taken to the hospital. While receiving excellent care over the past several weeks, I’ve also had to deal with a mild case of pneumonia.   “I can assure you that I’ve been a good patient. At my age, I tend to do what my doctors tell me to do. I’ve submitted to every test they can think of to help figure out what caused this incident. And I’m continuing to do everything they ask to speed my recovery. In fact, with signs of continued progress, I’ve been able to move from hospital care to a rehabilitation center where I’ll keep regaining my strength.   “As much as it frustrates me, this process takes time. And on the advice of my doctors, I won’t be able to return to the Senate floor to vote quite yet. But rest assured that, in the meantime, I’m not taking a break from the Senate business that matters to you. I’ve been working closely with my legislative staff on current issues, and with my Kentucky team who help me provide timely constituent services across our Commonwealth. I’ve also been keeping in touch with my Senate colleagues on the appropriations process, midterm politics, and everything in between.   “You’re right to expect your representatives to work hard for you. And part of my decision to retire at the end of my term this coming January was being honest about the demands of Senate work. But I still have unfinished business to complete on your behalf, and I have every intention of finishing the job you elected me to do.   “I’ll keep working hard to get back on the Senate floor as soon as possible. And I’ll keep you posted on the progress of my recovery. Until then, I’m so grateful for your prayers and well wishes.”

@JakeSherman @lawindsor Don’t believe it. AI Let’s hear his voice, even if it’s just on an audio recording with proof of the date. Or if he’s well enough to sit up in bed and take a photo, he could meet with Chuck Schumer or John Thune and let us know that he’s actually still alive.

It gives you a good idea of what McConnell should have looked like if the heart attack story was real and accurate. Graham is covered in gear including an oxygen mask, and a device automating chest compressions, as multiple medics quickly moved him to the ambulance.
